Stayed here for a week, over new years. We had a wonderful time. Clean and spacious for 4 people. Had everything we need. Loved the hot tub. Tony was very responsive and accommodating. Hope to stay again the future.
The kitchen and dining room was very greasy and sticky ,dead spiders hanging ... The kitchen and dining room was very greasy and sticky ,dead spiders hanging from the bottom of radiator s,shower cubicle need a good clean, Both tv's in bedroom did not work No outside light No handrail on the stairs
The house is great stayed here before love the location. But had a radio last time this has gone really missed it. There were only two towels left in a house that could hold five. Luckily there were just two of us so ok for shower but had to go out and buy towels for hot tub. Windows needed a clean. Water in kitchen was only Luke warm so could not wash pots properly without boiling a kettle. Bathroom light did not work. But we still had a good time all in all ok.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Auction House. The area is nice and peaceful and it is so relaxing sitting in the hot tub on an evening. The house is very homely and comfortable with everything you could possibly want to make your stay enjoyable. The little basket of coffee, tea and biscuits is a lovely touch.

We have had a lovely stay in Atwick at the auction house. Lovely comfortable house to spend a weeks holiday in. You have everything that you need to make it a pleasant stay. Having Netflix and Amazon prime was great for the evenings. Our little dog Alfie loved the back garden making friends with the neighbours dog through the fence. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing after a days exploring. Overall a really lovely relaxing holiday. We hope to visit again next year. Thank you Angie and Tony got the use of your home .
A fantastic place to have a chilled out holiday. Quiet village with pub 2 mins walk friendly locals plus great Sunday lunch. Property also had bonus of Netflix & Amazon Prime. Lovely & clean accommodation, beds were really comfy, instructions on how to find etc spot on and everything in holiday home to make a perfect stay.
I would respectfully suggest a hand rail for the stairs I am sure older clients would appreciate that otherwise perfect

The owner is already aware of the issues raised. The cleanliness of the property leaves alot to be desired. 2 of the bed pillows were stained, one in particular was the colour of tea it was the filthy hidden under a pillow protector. Urine and stains on underneath of the toilet seat. Black mould around sink and on windows. Food welded on to kitchen floor, oven mitt covered in dried on food. Just generally unclean. Lots of other issues. We were given a refund by the owner despite his rudeness and blame put on cleaning company. A week after refund was issued, received a rude WhatsApp message saying we had double standards that we had left hot tub dirty funny that has we never actually used it due to bad weather conditions and the state of the rest of the house. We left after 1 night!! Avoid this property, plenty of others to choose from.
Deborah
Loved the hottub and well equipped kitchen. Would have appreciated a dishwasher more than the washing machine
Matthew
A lovely house in a nice, small village. A well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable house and to top it off a hot tub! The only thing we felt it was missing was a dishwasher, but maybe we're too used to having one. Although the house may seem basic it is evident that the owners have put a lot of effort into making it feel homely and it's worked. We had a great stay and if we were returning to this area, we would choose this property again.
We have just returned reluctantly from our brilliant holiday at The Auction House, in the pretty village of Atwick. Angie and Tony have thought of every tiny detail at this wellequipped cottage near the beautiful village of Hornsea a great place for some lovely meals!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our days exploring Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Filey, Beverley and Bridlington, coming home to a relaxing evening in the hot tub. Thank you for a perfect stay.
Jennifer
The considerate owners had thought of everything. A very comfortable and relaxing stay
A well presented holiday home with everything you could need available. It was excellent for the dog as had a good sized garden and places to walk. It is set in a nice quiet but very friendly village not far from beaches or country walks. Would book again.
