Venture to the nearby Cartmel, a typical Cumbria village, where you can enjoy a day of leisurely activities such as visiting the Carmel Racecourse or the 13th century Priory Church of St. Mary and St.
Michael. For some retail therapy, sample the delight of the Cartmel Village Shop, before savouring the deliciousness of the famous sticky toffee pudding.
