Lindsey
Isla Cottage is lovely, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub is great, its slightly away from the cottage but we didnt have an issue with that. The cottage is small but cosy. The stairs are steep, fine for most people, my elderly parents just had to be careful. Great location, the village is lovely and there are lo ts of places to visit within a short drive. Can really recommend the Golden Lion for great food and service.
Stuart
Perfect little cottage. We stayed for 4 nights and it was great. Very quiet and some lovely walks nearby.
Annicka
Absolutely loved our little break. It's a beautiful little cottage in gorgeous village.
Ian
We have just had a very enjoyable weekend at isla cottage. Very clean and a brilliant location for getting out and about
Fiona
Spent Christmas here and have to say it's a lovely cottage in a lovely village however note the road is uneven and very hilly with tight bends. Hot tub is amazing but a short distance from the cottage. Shared access at the back so although you can take a dog you can't just let them out as it's not secure and they can get out on the road. There's 3 pubs within walking distance plus a village store, a cafe and a chippy. The stairs are steep and there is no landing. Really enjoyed it - bed so comfy
Lindsey
A lovely little cottage in a character filled village. Ideally located for the east coast and surrounded by quaint villages with great pubs. Though compact, the cottage is well equipped and the garden area is a great addition. We enjoyed the hot tub and meals on the patio. The cottage was lovely and clean for our arrival and lots of information ava ilable in the welcome pack. We visited during the Osmotherley games and the village was in full party regalia. Crockery smash not to be missed!
Caroline
Clean bed comfortable. Nice location very quiet.
David
I would not hesitate recommending a stay at Isla Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and superbly presented, everything has been thought through with precision. Simply can not fault the owners. The facilities are excellent and we had an absolutely fabulous time and the dog friendly enviroment was excellent. The hot tub and design of it se t back and totally private was excellent. The village is an incredibly relaxing place and the locals are so friendly. We cant wait to revisit.
Janet
Very comfortable cottage set in lovely village location with a secluded hot tub. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The off-road parking space is welcome.
Gina
Gorgeous cottage in a gorgeous little village. Have already recommend to family & friends. We have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a lovely stay :)
Jacky
Beautiful little cottage, well stocked with everything you would need. Spotlessly clean, in peaceful village within easy reach of many attractions.
Ryan
Cottage was lovely. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It all felt very new as well. The Hot Tub was an added bonus, with it being tucked away so that it felt private. We found the cottage and was really well located for travel to any local towns or cities we wanted to go to as the village is so close to the A19. The village itse lf has a couple of nice places to eat as well as having a nice atmosphere. Would love to return next time we are in that part of the world.
Christine
Very clean comfortable cottage in a lovely village.
