Great location to explore the surrounding area. Clean and comfortable lodge with great views. The games room was a great add on we weren't expecting. Would definitely use again.

A great stay at Heathcliffe Lodge. The Lodge is clean, tidy, and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay and the owner, Cliff, is very helpful and welcoming. Northallerton is a great location for exploring Yorkshire and the town it's self is also great.
The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and suggested places to visit and where to park in town etc. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a lovely stay at Heathcliff Lodge in a lovely quiet location but right next to Northallerton a fabulous place for great shops, pubs, restaurants Betty's Tearoom too! yummy!! The Lodge is comfortable, clean and great to relax in with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. Fantastic welcome hamper much appreciated. Loved the hot tub which we really looked forward to each evening. Thanks to Cliff for all the local information. Great places to visit. Loved Forbidden Corner would highly recommend for all ages. So much more to do in this area which Cliff has lots of knowledge about. Yes would definitely recommend a great stay at Heathcliff Lodge.
Cliff the owner was a great host providing a lot of information about the local area. Property was very clean and tidy , being very picky it just needed tidying up in a couple of area's such as radiators in bathroom were rusting.
Fantastic place on a lovely spot, and an excellent place for a base to travel. Really appreciated the hospitality and welcome!

Loved, loved, loved this lodge, we arrived a little early but cliff the owner was there to greet us and the lodge was ready. Everything you possibly wanted is in the lodge. Fantastic lookout out and a lovely hottub too.Lovely welcome hamper as well.! We had the weather too which was a bonus! Granddaughter loved the new addition games hut! Very quiet site, but in the field opposite they were cutting hay husband & Granddaughter watched them in amazement with all the equipment fantastic, can't wait to book again, thanks to cliff & the team
Absolutely fantastic stay! The owner is really friendly and there to offer advice or just have a chat. The facilities are excellent and everything is very well thought through. We needed some assistance with the hot tub and the owner very quickly sorted us out. The lodge is spotless and the most comfortable lodge we have stayed in by far. The location is fantastic! So close to the town but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere as its so peaceful! Special mention to Maxwell who loves to pop by and say hello. Hes such a good boy and never crossed the line into the lodge. The kids absolutely adored him and wanted to bring him home with us. The kids also loved going to see the goats and horses on the farm.l, as well as playing on the games shed and with the footballs and goalposts. We are already planning next years stay! See you soon!

Lovely place, very comfy, relaxing just what we needed The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need, son loved going to see the animals and the game room Will definitely be returning and recommend to friends and family
Cliff the owner shared his knowledge of places to go and see. The Lodge and hot tub was of a very high standard. Small Hamper was a nice thought. Overall one of the best accommodation we have stayed in
Very comfy and well equipped lodge. Cliff was very helpful with knowledge of local area and places to go..Kitchen and shower were amazing for a holiday let! Max a dog was so cute and well behaved.
A beautiful holiday lodge in a peaceful setting. Lovely and clean and well equipped. We were very lucky with the weather and hot tub was very welcome. Little extras were much appreciated. Maxwell the resident dog was a delight. Cliff has created the perfect holiday lodge and is a very helpful and interesting host.
Our visit to Heathcliff lodge was booked rather on a whim but we just want to say how much of an unexpectedly good time we had. The location was perfect for our family, literally a 5 minute drive into Northallerton and fantastically located for days out, with plenty to do within an hours drive. Cliff, the host was great in recommending things for us to do and whilst we didn't get to do as much as we wanted, because the weather wasn't great, we were perfectly comfortable in the lodge and the hot tub was a much welcomed addition after a long day. We would definitely return. I'm already missing the softer water than where we're from and the shower with inbuilt radio.

Lovely location great cottage and great host
Fantastic host. Knowledge of area and recommendations are brilliant. Our granddaughter throughly enjoyed being free to roam around and see the animals. Peaceful and relaxing.

Such a homely holiday lodge on a lovely farm with a beautiful corn field in front. Cliff is a superb host and a font of local knowledge. The hot tub under the gazebo is wonderful after exploring all day. We even managed a BBQ during our stay with meat sourced from the local market. Everything we needed was provided for and the welcome pack was really well appreciated and a nice touch.
Great place to stay. Lodge is kitted out with everything you need. Hot tub is fab & can be set hot or cool essential for the recent heatwave! Cliff is a great host & we loved our visits from Maxwell the dog. Well be back!
Can't praise Heathcliff Lodge enough very clean inside and out and all your ... Can't praise Heathcliff Lodge enough very clean inside and out and all your needs are there including a lovely welcoming hamper thank you Cliff our holiday in your lodge was fantastic and loved the visits from Maxwell
We had a fabulous week in this Lodge which was fully equipped with everything you need. Cliff the owner was a great guy and we thoroughly enjoyed the regular visits from Maxwell the dog who appeared at the threshold of the Lodge and never entered, just for a bit of fuss.

The property was amazing, it was cleaned to a high standard before we arrived, there were no isses while we were at the property . The owner was so friendly and would offer his recommendations of where to go to eatwhat to do around the area. The shops are also within walking distance. We would definitely stay again and recommend this property to anyone looking to stay within the area.
This was our first time visiting so did not know what to expect. We have just returned home after spending 2 weeks at the Heathcliffe Lodge and we had the most wonderful time. Cliff was the perfect host and such a lovely guy. The Lodge was bigger than I thought it would be and it was stocked with everything you would need. Before travelling I had to call Cliff to get arrival details, and when I spoke with him he had so much time for me and gave me so much information on places to visit in the area during our stay. I had every intention of visiting them all, however although I did visit a few I found myself relaxing at the Lodge and just sitting outside overlooking the Cornfield which I found so peaceful and relaxing, just what I wanted from this holiday. Whilst I was chilling out sitting on the front porch my husband was spending time in the hot tub. The Heathcliffe Lodge had everything we were looking for. I also have to give special mention to Maxwell, Cliff's dog, who was just the sweetest, friendliest, most well trained dog you could imagine. I never thought a dog could make me laugh so much, he was absolutely adorable. He visited us every day just to say hello and make sure things were okay! I would also like to mention Philip, Cliff's coworker who was also so friendly and helpful during our stay. Cliff also introduced us to his Llamas, Pygmy Goats and Rheas, so if you have kids they will love this. The town centre was only a few minutes away and as far as shopping goes has everything you will need, from all the usual High Street shops to Supermarkets, Restaurants and nice pubs to enjoy a bar lunch. At the end of our 2 weeks I would have gladly stayed for another week but could not as the Lodge was booked. So we thank Cliff so much for his help in making our stay so enjoyable, and we'll be back! Best wishes, Lyn and David
Our host had ensured that we had all we needed for our stay. Included was a welcome pack which was much appreciated and came as a big surprise. We enjoyed our stay very much and good to reacquaint ourselves with the area.
Darren
Great lodge in a great location. So much to do near by
Best holiday location. We absolutely loved the lodge but what made the experience better was how lovely cliff was. After arrival he arrived to check we had settled in okay. Just a lovely guy. We will be. Looking this place again. 1010
Heathcliffe Lodge exceeded all our expectations. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped and we found it short of nothing. The hottub was an added bonus. Cliff Pearson and Maxwell were excellent hosts. His local knowledge is great, we would not have found some of the places he recommended and we would have missed out without it. Maxwell is a star who visited most days and we really looked forward to seeing him. Having a visit from a six month old llama was great, very unexpected. We will not hesitate to recommend Heathcliffe Lodge to anyone looking for a quality relaxing getaway in a lovely part of the country. Loved it!!
Andrew
Great lodge we'll equipped and lots of nice touches, hot tub could do with a wind break
Lovely lodge in excellent location for exploring the area. Extremely comfy beds and kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing under the stars after a long day walking. Cliff the owner was so knowledgeable about the area, he was so happy to help and made sure we had everything we needed.
Rebecca

We had a fantastic week, helped largely by the heatwave, but Cliff was extremely helpful in recommending things to do locally and nothing was too much trouble. The lodge was in a perfect location with great views and was ideal for our family of four. Our young boys loved the open space and visitingfeeding the animals at the farm. A great week and weve already recommended to friends and family!
