Behind the doors of Dunimere Farmhouse, once a bustling cheesemaking farm, you'll discover a home brimming with character and charm. At its heart lies a spacious kitchen and dining area, thoughtfully equipped to meet all your culinary needs during your stay, a chef can be provided if required.

Next to this, a stately dining room awaits, with seating for up to fourteen, a perfect setting for lively meals and cherished moments with family and friends. The sitting room, featuring a TV and a crackling woodburning stove, provides a peaceful spot to relax and recharge after a day of adventures.

For those craving a quiet escape, the snug, complete with a treadmill, offers a private retreat to unwind. Fun and games are on the agenda with a dedicated games room, a pool table and the play room having table football, promising hours of enjoyment for all ages.

Step outside to a generous enclosed lawn, a haven for outdoor fun. Whether dining alfresco on the garden furniture, soaking in the hot tub beneath a canopy of stars, or letting the kids bounce away on the trampoline, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Spread over three floors, the property houses five well-appointed bedrooms. On the first floor, you'll find a king-size bedroom with a sofa bed and single bed, a double bedroom with a sofa bed, two family rooms - one of which features a sofa bed and a TV.

The second floor hosts another family room, having a king-size bed and two singles, complete with a TV for your entertainment. The property benefits from three bathrooms, each fitted with a bath, handheld shower and walk-in shower.

Rosliston Forestry Centre - DE12 8JX

Rosliston Forestry Centre is a beautiful woodland site with tranquil areas for Fishing as well as some beautiful meadows and a lake. For children there is a Play Area to run around on and during school holidays organised activities such as range led walks are available. The site is also an excellent place for Walking, Cycling and Horse Riding. Other available events taking place this year include an Archery drop in session, a Christmas Crafting Afternoon and a Mince Pie and Mulled Wine Walk.
Conkers - DE12 6GA

Conkers is an award winning attraction located in the midst of the National Forest.  Combining both indoor and outdoor activities this is an all weather attraction in the Peak District.  It's really easy to get to as well, just 5 miles from Junction 11 off the M42.  Designed for all ages some of the highlights include the Enchanted Forest Adventure play area and a simulated Tree Top walk.  Look out for special seasonal events such as October half term and the Annual Halloween Party.  At the moment you can receive a fantastic discount if you book your tickets online.
Ash End House Childrens Farm -

With family fun for everyone a trip to this farm makes a memorable day out in Staffordshire.  Some highlights of the day might include the chicks and ducklings in a basket, goat kid walking, bottle feeding the lambs or bunny brushing.  Located in the Tamworth area of Stafforshire this attraction is easy to get to.  Look out for special events taking place throughout the year including weekend and school holidays when extra activities may be organised.  Don't forget to meet Chirpy while you are there - the extra large chick!
British Wildlife Rescue Centre - TN8 7AR
about 17 Miles
This is a really unique opportunity to see the fantastic work going on at this centre.  The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.  Many of the animals are brought to the centre by members of the public or the RSPCA.  Visit their website to see the picture gallery and to find out how to help if this is something which interests you.  There are also regular fundraising events such as the Sponsered Leg Wax.
Dudley Zoo - DY1 4QF

A day trip to Dudley Zoo in Worcestershire is a real treat for children and adults alike. The zoo is crammed with unusual and rare animals and educational talks, shows and organised activities are also on offer to make sure visitors get the most from their experience. Denby visitor centre is a fun day out in the Derbyshire region with an array of activities iunder one roof.  An all weather attraction you can take pottery tours, see cookery demonstrations and visit Bourne's restaurant.  There are events and offers on throughout the year for example the Denby factory Shops sale where you can save £££s and October Creepy Crypt for Halloween where you can go along in fancy dress and have your face painted.  Booking is advised so check out the latest details on their website.
Crazy Crocodiles Indoor Play & Party Centre - LL30 1DR

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire.  With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children.  The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.  Look out for offers on their website such as a free hot drink on select days.
