Seaview Wellness Retreat Reviews

Terence
A lovely property in a great location for visiting attractions in the area. Transport links are very good. The house and bedrooms were of a high standard and very well equipped. The only fault would be that there were no instructions at all. We did not know what to do with the recycling or when to put out rubbish. We very much enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautiful house and well thought out for visitors comfort, beds were comfy and clean and the location was ideal for accessing all the attractions of Carnoustie and the surrounding area, only one small suggestion, as there is no tumble dryer a washing line would be handy to dry guests clothes, apart from that everything else was perfect. Would highly recommend!
All spik and span on arrival. Lovely house. The small double room has a double bed which was so squeaky my daughter had to move downstairs to the children's room. I left a note for Phil, the owner so he may have tightened up the frame by now. I wouldn't consider that room to be comfortable for more than 1 occupant All other bedrooms were great...though the upholstery leaves a lot to be desired! We had a lovely break there and all of us had a great time.
Great location, beautiful home for a lovely weekend with friends week before my daughters wedding. The hot tub and games room was a bonus Lovely bar scouts and Prosecco left for us arriving Easy access to property and owner always available
We had a great weekend. Plenty of seating for diner and in the living room for all 14 of us. Bedrooms all spacious and comfy. Would definitely come back.
An absolutely outstanding venue that we all loved. 9 people in the house and not once did we feel like we were tripping over each other, essentially a mini hotel only we were the customers and the staff Highly recommended! Thank you for making our weekend away so memorable.

House is quite nice, only 2 small oven dishes for food, we actually purchased some to be able to cook food, owner when we rang was grumpy as a child had locked the bedroom door as there is no key for the Yale locks on all the bedrooms dangerous if contacting owner is only option this is very dangerous in my opinion if there was an emergency, for the amount of money you charged we expected the house to have only niggle problems, not to have to go and buy pots and pans to cook, one of the saucepans is from the 1960s at least, old thick aluminium pot that even looks old. the house itself is very tired with old B&B furniture that has seen better days, yet in the kitchen there is an abundance of plates, cups, saucers etc to feed at least 30 people.parts of the gas cooker do not work and would not light? needs repaired or replaced. this really rattles my nerves when the only way to get the owner to put things right is to have to suffer in the process, he runs a hotel i believe so should have a knowledge of kitchen essentials? as i already stated the house is nice but tired and i would not stay there, not again unless i was assured it had been updated
We had a fabulous stay in the Seaview for 4 nights over Christmas. The property was perfect for our family of 9 adults, 5 children and a dog. It was really spacious, very clean and the hot tub was a huge hit! Great communication from the owners. We would love to stay again sometime
