Heather Cottage Reviews

Alyson
A beautiful cottage, lots of character and all the comforts of home. A very nice welcome pack with lovely fresh bread, sparkling wine, chocolates and treats for our dogs! The large garden was fully enclosed for the dogs so we could relax and enjoy the hot tub. An excellent base for exploring the highlands. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had such an enjoyable holiday here. The location meant that places along the north coast were well within easy reach and cottage itself is just beautiful! Very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely big garden! The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the renovation and decor of the property and it really shows. They are also ve ry approachable and couldn't do enough for you. We would love to come back here again!

The centre aims to be educational too, teaching children about the natural habitats of rare animals and offering supervised hands on contact with some of the more friendly residents. Among the animals visitors will meet are unusual and rare Sheep breeds, docile Donkeys, agile Alpine Goats, adorable Lambs and an incubator with Baby Chicks. The Tea Room has an excellent reputation locally and serves very tasty salads, sandwiches and home cooked meals.
