We enjoyed a family gathering for my dads 70th. The cottage is comfortable and the hot tub is a definite plus! There are lovely walks from the cottage and Dalavich has a nice cafe for hot drinks. It is remote and there are no food shops for miles, so I recommend stocking up before getting there! The loch is not as accessible as wed hoped (there areRead more places not far by foot to access the water but it wasnt somewhere to wander down to from the cottage) but that didnt detract from a great stay. Lovely house and would certainly stay here again. Very well equipped and very comfortable. There were 6 of us staying and we never felt like we were on top of each other with plenty of space to relax. We loved the location as it was well away from noise and a lovely walk up to the waterfalls just across the road. It does take a while to get anywher e in this area so even popping to Oban was an hour's drive, but the view whilst doing it was fantastic.

Beautiful setting in a remote place. Scenery and views stunning. No cars very few, no crowds no shops no hustle and bustle. Such a relaxing holiday. A 15 minute easy walk takes you to the village shop cum post office cum Wild Rowan Cafe. So cute so friendly, great coffee and freshly made food. Brilliant!

We had an amazing stay. The location is right on the doorstep of loch and forest walks. The garden was an ideal size and secure for the dogs. The cafe did fish and chips on the Thursday night and we were made to feel very welcome by the locals. The owner is on hand and very pleasant should you need anything.

Gillian
We had a fantastic stay, cottage was spacious and clean and had everything we required. Recommend to take everything you require as the nearest spar is about a 40 min drive, apart from the village shop which only has essentials. Perfect for a quiet getaway literally in the middle of no where. Garden spacious and enclosed. Would be ideal for a summe r trip. Decent hot tub also
Sophie
Beautiful house beautifully located very isolated loved it. Make sure you plan food or to go shopping as it takes ages to drive anywhere. Would recommend, a few minor issues but loved our holiday.
Daniella
Stunning property, highly recommend. We stayed for the weekend but wish it was longer. Such a sociable extension area with the kitchen/diner. Perfect little place
Margo
We stayed 4 nights in the Old Schoolhouse. We had a wonderful time and are already planning on returning. The house is perfectly located with walks from the doorstep and a hot tub to relax in when you return. Considering the location the wifi was very reliable. The garden was large, our dog loved it. My only suggestion would be to bring enough food . The kitchen is large and very well stocked. There is a shop within walking distance but it is small.
