We just spent a week at the Turnstone and honestly, the location couldn't be more perfect. Super peaceful, making it a great place to relax. Out of all the lodge holidays we've had, this one tops the list - spacious, spotlessand fully equipped. We even joked about moving in permanently! The owner was lovely, introduced us to her adorable dog and some cheeky lambs, which made it even more special. No downsides at all. We're thinking of booking again next May, just need to see how the prices go up first. Thanks for a fantastic week!

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 25 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
