We absolutely loved staying here! The old forge has been beautifully renovated and is set in such a peaceful spot, surrounded by gorgeous meadows and wildflowers-perfect for unwinding. The location was quietand though the electric trains nearby were a bit frequent, it didn’t bother us at all. With four bathrooms and plenty of bedrooms, our big family plus the dog all fit comfortably. The kitchen and dining area with folding doors opening to the patio was ideal for cooking and relaxing. Huge thanks to Lucy and Giles for sharing their lovely home!

We had a really lovely long weekend at Forge House with three generations, from 9 to 81. The setting is just perfect, super peaceful and surrounded by nature. The house was comfy, cleanand well-equipped, making it easy for us to relax. A quick heads-up for dog owners though-the garden isn’t fully fencedand there’s plenty of wildlife around, so keep an eye on your pets.
