Beacon House Reviews

Charlotte
We had a lovely stay here! The house is perfect for big groups or families, especially with plenty of bathrooms so everyone gets their own space. The dining table was great for shared mealsand the games room kept us entertained for hours. The massive TV was a bonus for movie nights. The garden was ideal for our dogs to run aroundand the hot tub, though quite hot, was a nice treat. Just remember to bring extra towels if you plan to use it, as there weren’t enough provided. Overall, a great place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Beacon House. The place was spotless and well-stocked, which was great. Only minor gripe is the stair gates-they’re a bit tricky and could be a trip hazard when using the stairs. Still, a lovely holiday overall!
James
We had a fantastic stay at this house with our group of six couples, ages from mid 50s to early 80s. The kitchen was well stocked, though we mainly used it for breakfast and takeaways. The property was beautifully furnishedand the entertainment options were a real highlight-games room with pool, table tennis, dartsand table football, plus a huge TV in the lounge, great for watching the Euros! Parking was plenty for our six large carsand the location was just a 20-minute walk into town. Definitely recommend!
Emma

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was perfect, with a fantastic location and everything we needed under one roof. It was spotless and well-maintained, which made things even better. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. We did have a small issue with the heating, but it was sorted out quickly, so no worries there. We’re already thinking of coming back. Thanks, Geoff!

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious house spread over four floors, including a basement with a pool table, which was a hit. The living room's massive TV, bigger than the pics, came with full Sky and Netflix - perfect for relaxing. Its location is great, just a short walk along the River Torridge footpath to Bideford. The hot tub was a real treatand the owners, living nearby, were super helpful when we needed anything. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place for a comfy getaway. Really enjoyed it!

The house was just the right size for three families to share, fully equippedand everything has been well thought out. We loved the cosy sofas for those evenings in front of the TV, the big garden, games roomsand the hot tub to keep everyone entertained (a pool would have been the icing on the cake) The location was great, just a short drive to the beach. We really enjoyed this holiday and it just didn't seem long enough!

We had a lovely stay at Beacon House, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with our family. The house was comfortable and clean, with plenty of space for everyone...everything we needed for a relaxing break. The 90-inch TV was a huge hit with the family, especially for watching the sport and reality TV shows!
Emma
Beacon House was just right for us. We booked it for a 60th birthday celebration in February, with 8 adults and 4 kidsand we all had a lovely weekend! It was very clean, modernand met all our needs perfectly. The location is ideal, too, being close to shops, pubsand just a short drive to the beaches. We would definitely use the property again and would recommend it to others.
Emma
We had a lovely stay, but we did have one tiny issue with the master bedroom bed. It was quite hard and the pillows were a bit lumpy, but that didn't really take away from how much we enjoyed the house!
