Vantage Point is a luxury property accommodating up to eight people, with a private sauna and large hot tub, at the exclusive Hillfield Village development just four miles from the historic port of Dartmouth. Guests can enjoy the use of beautiful gardens, all-weather tennis court and a children's play area. This carefully styled contemporary house overlooks the beautiful gardens and the valley beyond, boasting spectacular views from the 'wrap around' deck.

The impressive first floor open plan living accommodation has unspoilt views from the comfortable central sitting area, â€˜glazed turretâ€™ dining area and bespoke kitchen. French windows lead on to the first floor decking, ideal for a leisurely al fresco breakfast!

There are four bedrooms in total, all on the ground floor: two en suite double bedrooms each with a King-size bed and a beautiful bathroom with a bath and shower. The third and fourth bedrooms each have twin beds.

There is also a wonderful family bathroom, complete with whirlpool bath and separate shower. Whether you are looking for accommodation for a family getaway, or for a gathering of friends to celebrate a special occasion, this is wonderful holiday home.

Vantage Point, Hillfield Village Reviews

We enjoyed our stay. Layout is perfect for several couples. Whilst we didnt use the golf course the description suggests that the property was part of a golf complex which it isnt. As other guests have pointed out the property needs maintenance and a deep clean. Specifically some of the door locks need replacing and the outdoor furniture is very tired. We were disappointed in finding cobwebs, crumbs and lipstick on furniture, hand marks on windows, dirty crockery & cutlery as well as several false nails scattered around the bedrooms. There was an unpleasant smell in ensuite bathroom below hot tub and that shower did not drain very well.

When we arrived after almost 4 hours drive, the accommodation welcomed us with its neatness and cleanliness together with the well organised layout of the property. The jacuzzi and sauna added on to the holiday that made all of us relaxed even better. Great place it would be even more enjoyable in summer. Thank you. Good job.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Vantage Point, we had a great time. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was really well equipped. The property is really spacious, the bedrooms are large the photos really dont do it justice. There was also a good selection of board games and jigsaws. The sauna and hot tub are just perfect with the added bonus of being undercover when the weather is not so kind! The Sportsmans Arms is a great pub excellent carvery and only a 5 minute drive away. We also visited Dartmouth, Totnes and a trip to The Ferryboat Inn known as the FBI. We had 3 generations on holiday, ages from 16 to 83 and there was something for everyone.

Spotlessly clean, lovely big sofas, dining table. And comfy beds. Beautiful views, lovely big hot tub. Enjoyed meals out at the Sportmans five mins drive from the house and Bushells in Dartmouth. Only criticism was the oven, really complicated and even reception were baffled by it, gave up trying to use it. However this didnt ruin our stay it was lovely.

Had a few issues with hot water and shower control all sorted very quickly with minimum fuss. Heating seemed to take a long time to get to temperature suspect the property was empty the previous week. Decking area could do with some TLC. One of the double bedrooms had a continuous hum from the hot tub which was above. Very comfortable, well equipped property in a good location for all of south Devon attractions.

Says there were walks around the grounds but these were limited. Washing machine could not just tumble dry. Knives need sharpening! Just suggestions.

Vantage Point is now tired upstairs, it needs a lick of paint and the balustrades cleaning properly. Downstairs there was black mold in all bathrooms. The hot tub's noise could be heard below in the second bedroom and kept my partner awake many times. It is a ridulous place to put the hot tub. We could not check in until 4pm, and you have to leave the premises by 10am. This leaves the cleaners 6 hours to properly clean Vantage Pount. However, when we arrived at 1pm we were going on a boat trip the cleaning had only just started. We would mark the accommodation 610 at the most. Very disappointing!

Family favourites include the fun and playful Lemurs of Lemur Wood, and the inquisitive and cheeky Monkeys of Monkey Heights. The zoo also aims to educate its visitors and offers regular talks and displays. Other activities include Face Painting, Boat Rides around Gibbon Island and miniature Train Rides. There is also a large Play Area, Restaurant and several Snack Bars.

Hedgehog Hospital at Prickly Ball Farm - EX20 3TA

If you are looking for a fun family day out with a difference then a visit to the Hedgehog Hospital is a great choice. While visiting the hospital children can learn about these shy wild animals and the dangers they face in the wild as well as how we can help them. The farm is a halfway house for sick hedgehogs and children can meet some of the animals that are almost ready to go back to the wild. The farm also has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a wildlife garden as well as a pet's area with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.

River Dart Country Park - TQ13 7NP

River Dart Country Park has over 90 acres of woods offering stunning scenic walks, beautiful lakes and open parkland. The park also has a good range of facilities for children including Jungle Ropes, Climbing Frames, Cargo Nets and a wooden Pirate Ship. For younger children there is a toddlers Play Area and a small Beach. During high season supervised activities may include the mega Zip Wire, Canoeing and Rock Climbing.
