Horslett Stable Reviews

Emma
We had such a lovely stay! The peaceful farm location made it perfect for relaxingand it’s a great base to explore West Devon and Cornwall easily. The owners were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. Our little pup, Monty, was especially fond of Jet and the other farm dogs - it was adorable to watch them play. The cinema room was fantastic - so well designed - and the hot tub was just the cherry on top. Can’t wait to come back!

The hot tub was a highlight, used every day. Only about 18 mins from Widemouth Beach and half an hour to Bude. We’d definitely come back - perfect for nature lovers and animal fans!

We really enjoyed our stay and honestly couldn't find any faults with the cottage. The facilities were spot on - the projector and hot tub kept the kids entertained, especially on rainy days. We also appreciated the little touches like the clothes horse and laundry detergent, which made things easier. There’s loads to do nearby, so we never ran out of options. The kids especially loved seeing Blaze the farm dog every day when we came back from outings. It was a lovely break!

We had a great stay! The place was super clean and peaceful, perfect for our group of five and two dogs. The hot tub was fantastic and well looked after. Being on a farm was charming, especially meeting Blaze. Just a heads-up, the rural roads are quite narrow, so it might not suit everyone. We loved it though!

We had a lovely time at the cottage! It’s really well-equipped and super comfy. The private patio and grass area made it perfect for relaxing afternoons. Watching the farm animals from the window was a bonus. Ordering groceries was straightforward - Tesco delivered without any issuesand we even saw Sainsbury’s delivery at the Barn. Overall, a fantastic week awayand we’d definitely recommend the Stables for anyone wanting a peaceful escape. We definitely want to come back!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and really well equipped, with top-notch quality throughout. The hot tub was a highlight, though the weather wasn’t on our side, so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space as much as we wanted. Still, a lovely break!

We stayed at this cosy cottage and honestly, it was lovely! The interior was beautifully finished and super well equipped. The projector in the living room made it feel like a mini cinema night! The garden was safe for our big dogs, which was a big plus. There aren’t many footpaths right outside, but a quick drive takes you to gorgeous beaches and woods.
