Little Norwood Reviews

Oliver
We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was super cosy and had everything we needed, from the modern fixtures to the hot tub and wood burner, which were definite highlights. The setting is peaceful and secluded, perfect for unwinding. Plus, it’s a great base for exploring North Devon’s attractions like beaches, coastal walks, RHS Rosemoor, Arlington Court, Exmoor Zooand The Big Sheep - all within about half an hour’s drive. Lovely trip overall!
Emma
Really enjoyed it, would definitely come back!
Emma W.
The cottage was charmingand we loved relaxing in the Jacuzzi. The only downside is the winding, single-track lanes, which might be tricky if you're nervous driving. It felt a bit further from everything than expected, but overall, we had a lovely, peaceful week!
Emma Carter
The kitchen was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The WiFi was a bit patchy at times, but nothing too annoying. We didn't take our dog for walks near the cottage because of some farm dogs that scared her, so we just went out for day trips when the weather was nice. The hot tub was a real treat! If we didn’t have the little one, we might've tried that long walk to the pub, but with narrow roads and a toddler, it was safer to stay local. Overall, a lovely place, although there was quite a lot of driving involved, but we still visited some beautiful spots. The owners were super friendly and answered all our questions promptly. Would definitely recommend!
Emma
This place is stunning, set in such peaceful countryside. Everything’s top-notch, from the furnishings to the little details. Definitely recommend it!
Emma
We've just had our second Christmas here since we have family nearbyand honestly, it was just as lovely as last time. The place is always spotlessly kept and decorated so beautifully. We absolutely love the log burner and the hot tub-total highlights! Fingers crossed we get to stay again soon, it really feels like a home away from home.
Emma
The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Located in a quiet spot, yet close enough to the beach, shopsand pub. We can't wait to come back!
Sam
We stayed in this charming old barnand it’s decorated beautifully with real attention to detail. The peaceful surroundings are perfect if you’re after a quiet getaway - you definitely need a car to get here, but that’s part of the charm. The outdoor seating and hot tub are lovely touchesand the place feels more like a cosy home than a typical holiday rental. Would definitely visit again!
Craigie
We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage is beautiful, so cleanand really welcoming. We enjoyed putting on the log fire at night to unwind after a day at the beach or some time in the hot tub. Morning coffee on the decking was so peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped, making it feel like a perfect home from home. Nikki and Emma were lovely and super helpful. We're definitely planning to come back!

The cottage is in such a beautiful location, seriously quiet and peaceful. It’s spacious and cosy, plus you have everything you might need. The hot tub is brilliant both in the day and the evening. Ohand being able to bring your dog is just the cherry on top! Absolutely stunning place, fantastic location and loads to do around here. The owners are really lovely and they put a genuine effort into making the place nice and ensuring you have the best stay possible!
Callum
We stayed at this extremely well-equipped cottageand honestly, it was furnished to a really high standard. The owners were lovely and so thoughtful, too! Plus, it’s in a great location for anyone wanting to explore the North Devon area, which is a definite bonus. Can’t recommend it enough!
Jemma
This holiday cottage is just beautiful! It has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is immaculately clean. The owners are really friendly and have provided everything you need in the kitchen, plus some nice extras like dressing gowns and towels. We loved the lovely hot tub and the outdoor area. There's a fab pub nearby called The Hunters Arms, just about 10 minutes away by car. The beaches are stunning and all within half an hour to an hour. We definitely recommend checking out Woolacombe, Clovellyand there's also a nearby lasertag place called Survival Paintball that’s worth a visit too!
Geoff
We had an excellent stay! Everything was very clean and tidy throughout, which was great. We’d definitely stay here again, no doubt about it. Just loved the whole experience.
Zara
This cottage is just lovely, with everything you might need. It's in a beautiful, quiet location. We'd highly recommend it and we will definitely be booking again for next year!
Sallyann
This holiday cottage was simply gorgeous and spot on! Everything was very high spec and we had a wonderful time on our break.
Anders
The cottage is situated in a really rural spot but honestly, we loved that! Just make sure to factor in a bit more time for getting to the main roads. We're definitely going to recommend this cottage to others. It might need a blind or curtain on the door for a touch more privacy. The cottage was immaculate, cozyand felt like a real home from home. We would love to return one day as we really didn't want to leave! Thanks, Nikki and Emma, for a lovely holiday.
Lionel
We enjoyed a lovely week here! The cottage is beautifully renovated with a high standard, combining modern touches with plenty of character. It's set in a charming rural spot, but just a five-minute drive down a single lane. The owners gave us spot on directions and were really helpful when we needed to adjust the heating timer. The highlights for us were the kitchen appliances, shower, hot water supply, WiFi, logburner, hot tuband the general cleanliness. We would definitely stay again.
