We've had a lovely stay. Cottage was odd living upside down but was quickly gotten used too. Beds and linen were comfortable, fresh and clean. Lovely little safe and enclosed garden for our aging dog to have a run around. We were able to take a swim, soak in the hot tub and play pool - lovely family bonding. What a lovely setting! We had a great view from our cottage. It was a relaxing base with the pool and games room providing lots of on-site entertainment. The nearby fields made off lead dog walking easy and pleasurable. Wed definitely visit again!

We had a lovely stay we rented all 3 cottages for a family of 10 21st dec to 27th dec Christmas gathering , they are all two bedroom We all got together in olive cottage as it seems bigger and is a better lay out , we had 3 dogs and the gardens are totally secure , kids loved the pool didnt really use the games room all the cottages are well equipp ed the local village is under 10 min pubs shop , big asda McDonalds, dominos Aldi /Lidl are only 25 min drive in Bideford We will return

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week at Mettaford Farm Cottages. Robin and Lesley were welcoming and helpful hosts and our accommodation was perfect for our needs. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced-in exercise fields, and we enjoyed the pool and sauna. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the location is perfect for enjoying the beaches on the rugg ed North Devon coast. The local village (Hartland) has an excellent cafe, several pubs and a shop. What more could one ask for ? Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, rural location. The cottage had everything we needed for the week, including cooking facilities. We really enjoyed the games room, particularly the pool and table tennis. Our dog Frey loved the exercise field, particularly when there were other dogs around for him to play with.
