A real gem lays behind the cobbled yard and green door. Our family of 5 adults and 7yr old had a fabulous holiday in this spacious and beautifully appointed house. A short walk from Chulmleigh's 2 pubs and shops (passing a lovely child's playground). Super comfy beds and lovely, large, private garden - perfect for an active child and great for even ing drinks around the fire pit. The hot tub was a favourite with everyone. Katie is a great host who does everything to make your stay perfect.

Tesco delivery arranged as shops are a good driveway, although local shop is pretty good and fresh eggs at the end of the lane. Hot tub was spot on and loved the spa bath too.

Really lovely place. When we drove up I wasn't so sure, but inside it is beautiful and done to a really high standard. The bedrooms are all a great size and have really nice en suites. Ten minute uphill walk to the centre of the village where there are a couple of pubs, convenience store and the like. Garden with sun loungers, outside seating and hot tub. Worth ev ery penny.

Lovely well equipped, comfortable and clean cottage with lots of space for everyone . Dont be put off by outside on arrival , far bigger than it looks . The garden is private ,peaceful and tranquil and the hot tub a bonus even when raining ! Owners very responsive to request for stair gate when we asked and available and informative if needed . We would definitely visit again .

Exceptional property, beautiful rooms decorated very tastefully and so well equipped which made our stay just perfect. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that nothing is a bother. We are slept so well as the beds and pillows are so comfortable and enjoyed the hot tub and garden every day which is private so we all felt very relaxed. Would definitely recommend this property for families and or groups of friends as very spacious, lots of room both in the house and garden.
