A real gem lays behind the cobbled yard and green door. Our family of 5 adults and 7yr old had a fabulous holiday in this spacious and beautifully appointed house. A short walk from Chulmleigh's 2 pubs and shops (passing a lovely child's playground). Super comfy beds and lovely, large, private garden - perfect for an active child and great for even ing drinks around the fire pit. The hot tub was a favourite with everyone. Katie is a great host who does everything to make your stay perfect.

Lovely house beautiful kitchen with all mod cons all so very large bedrooms which were very comfortable and ensuites and bathroom had all amenities' Garden had plenty of chairs and loungers to sit on and fantastic jacuzzi. House very clean bit remote for shops and pubs but so relaxing. Owner Katie very welcoming and nothing to much trouble would hi ghly recommend for a lovely quiet break. Absolutely beautiful house, lovely and peaceful. Lots of room for everyone and has everything you need. Lovely decor and surroundings. Tesco delivery arranged as shops are a good driveway, although local shop is pretty good and fresh eggs at the end of the lane. Hot tub was spot on and loved the spa bath too.

Just returned from a few days break at this beautiful property. Tastefully decorated and furnished with five star facilities. Fabulous location for both the countryside and coast. Hot tub is a huge bonus to relax in after a busy day. Owners are lovely - responsive, helpful and friendly but completely respect your privacy. We will definitely return.

Really lovely place. When we drove up I wasn't so sure, but inside it is beautiful and done to a really high standard. The bedrooms are all a great size and have really nice en suites. I could not recommend it enough! Plus there is a private chef who lives opposite. She made dinner for us, no washing up or fuss, absolutely brilliant! Thanks you

Excellent facilities with huge comfy beds and showers, the whirlpool bath was a nice addition too. Excellent garden, perfect for the dogs as it's enclosed and lots to explor e. Brilliant hottub, well covered so usuable all year round. Very attentive hosts who were more than happy to help both before and during our stay.

The area was good with lots of nice walks and very close to Chulmleigh where you can go to the lovely local pub! I would definitely recommend staying here. 10 out of 1 0!!

Katie and Graham the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that nothing is a bother. We enjoyed the hot tub and garden which is private so we all felt very relaxed. We had a fabulous stay at Northleigh, a fantastic property with a great garden for our lively pointer ! Katie couldnt have done more to make our stay any better, thought of everything and was on hand if we needed anything. The lovely bread and honey on arrival and fresh flowers was great. Even marshmallows provided for the firepit and logs. Lovely walks straight from the front door and a secure dog field just up the lane. Jacuzzi was great and a nice way to relax. We will definitely be back.

The holiday cottage was lovely . Clean and well equipped with thoughtful additions such as spare soap and shampoo in case you forget any basics . Lovely helpful owners close by if you need anything . Showers were fantastic ! Mattresses really comfortable . Recommended

Wonderful, spacious house in a good, central location. The quality of all fixtures and fittings was superb. Cleanliness was spot on and all rooms were very comfortable. Ten minute uphill walk to the centre of the village where there are a couple of pubs, convenience store and the like. Garden with sun loungers, outside seating and hot tub. Worth ev ery penny.

Lovely well equipped, comfortable and clean cottage with lots of space for everyone . Dont be put off by outside on arrival , far bigger than it looks . The garden is private ,peaceful and tranquil and the hot tub a bonus even when raining ! Owners very responsive to request for stair gate when we asked and available and informative if needed . We would definitely visit again .

Exceptional property, beautiful rooms decorated very tastefully and so well equipped which made our stay just perfect. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that nothing is a bother. We are slept so well as the beds and pillows are so comfortable and enjoyed the hot tub and garden every day which is private so we all felt very relaxed. Would definitely recommend this property for families and or groups of friends as very spacious, lots of room both in the house and garden.
