Penlaurel Reviews

Alison
We had a fantastic stay and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Penlaural had everything we needed and was i. A beautiful location. Would highly recommend
Great property in a lovely location. Ideal for trips to local beaches. Great little shop within walking distance and so peaceful. Hot tub was great.
Great holiday house, high quality interior with lots of space. Very friendly and helpful owners who lived near by.
Really impressed. Property was spotless and very modern in style. The welcome guide was very comprehensive and contained a huge amount of information on the local area, places to visit, takeaways, etc. The location was very quiet and near a beautiful beach although it's a steep walk back up. The hot tub was excellent and was a great way to relax in the evening. Although the weather wasn't the best for a couple of days, we had a fantastic time and would like to say a big thank you to the owners
Beautiful house in a beautiful location. We had a lovely time. The owners left a folder of information about not just the house and the facilities, but also about the surrounding area, which really came in useful. Some very cosy evenings in were had, and some slightly colder nights were made better with the hot tub! Thanks very much for having us.
Amazing cottage, amazing place. Spotless, specious and everything youll need. The hot tub and the fire place were great. Relaxing and very close to the sea
We had a fantastic stay at Penlaurel. Its a lovely quiet location with beautiful views. The house was well equipped and very clean. Great owners, very helpful. Hot tub was amazing, lots of outdoor seating. Cracking Haven is a pretty little village with a great beach. Beautiful home would definitely recommend.

A truly fantastic house. Comfortable and very clean with everything you could need even an egg timer. This house is in a lovely little village, very quiet and close to everything North Cornwall has to offer.
Sandip
Lovely property with plenty of space for 6 people. Hot tub was a great hit with the little ones, which was checked and cleaned every day by the owners. Stunning views of the rolling hilltops and secluded location. There was a shop around the corner, but nothing else within walking distance. No takeaway deliveries so you will need to drive for this. Kitchen area was easy to navigate so cooking was a breeze.
We could not have asked for anything more. Lovely well equipped and very comfortable property, it had everything we needed and more. Quiet location with lovely views from the front porch Nice spot to sit in the morning especially. Brilliant hot tub and outdoor seating, bbq was great too. It was a nice to meet the lovely owners who made our stay so perfect.
Kathryn
Beautiful house with lots of facilities.
Lovely house with excellent facilities . Fantastic large open plan dining kitchen with doors out to a nice outdoor space for sitting eating and quality hot tub. Great location for getting around North Cornwall and Devon . Good communication from the owners . Sun shone all week which was a bonus ! Had a super stay and would highly recommend.
Angela
Penlaurel was absolutely lovely, inside & out. Everything you needed & more, lovely comfortable beds & hot tub an added bonus. Also a brilliant location for getting to places without travelling very far. Definately worth a second visit.
We had a fantastic Easter break at Penlaurel. Everything was spotlessly clean and ready for our arrival. The welcome book is the most comprehensive I've ever read and the house had all we needed to make our stay comfortable and a real home from home. The hot tub is a great way to relax after a day in the surf or walking in the countryside and the log burner would be great to create a cosy atmosphere in the colder months we didn't need it though. Would definitely recommend this property as a base to explore the North Cornish coast.
Sebsatjan
We had an amazing time and the accommodation felt between home and hotel. Not too much home so that you can't relax but also not too much hotel so you feel displaced. Kids give 100 each 200 Wife gives 100 99 come from the amazing HotTub I give 99.9 since I had to do the washing on my vacation. It would have been nice to have a bigger washing stand. It was a bit small for four considering two kids rolling in the mud at Cornwalls amazing beaches. We will definitely come back if we find a free slot for a booking. Thanks for letting us stay , we had such a great time.
