The Foxs Den Reviews

James
Home from home feel at Foxes Den, we were made to feel very welcome by Mandy and Kelvin. A lovely hamper was waiting for us which was great as we arrived later than planned. All the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped ( cooked a Christmas dinner ) and the hot tub was a delight after long days at the coast or walking on the mooRead morers which were literally on the door step.. 10 / 10 Hide
Emily
Such a lovely place, spacious and very clean. Worth noting that the garden has been updated since these photos were taken, there's now some lovely steps and a gate so that you get a better view of the alpacas. For anyone else that's got a small dog that's a flight risk like ours, it's no longer quite the secure back garden these photos show but eveRead morerything that's been done is an improvement for normal guests! You're surrounded by great walks though so no great shakes. Hide

This was a fabulous family holiday home which had everything 3 children and I needed. The scones and biscuits on arrival were much appreciated, as was the entertainment provided by the alpacas next door. The owners were approachable, helpful and friendly. We were at most an hour from anywhere we wanted to explore. Highly recommended.
Corinne
Lovely cottage! Clean, modern, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. 3 very comfortable double/king sized beds, 2 showers with plenty of hot water. A hot tub that was ready to dip into on our first evening there. Safe & secure garden for dogs too. The host Mandy was very accommodating and helpful, leaving us a cream tea and shortbre ad after our very long journey there. Gorgeous meal(s) at The Crows Nest pub (dogs welcome.) Good location too, I highly recommended the cottage.
Lorraine
Lovely clean spacious property, with secure garden for dogs, great walks onto moors from doorstep, loved meeting and walking the resident alpacas. Coast within easy reach by car, thoroughly recommended walking costal path from looe to polperro., hot tub great after a days walking. The crows nest pub is a short walk from property lovely food.

A beautiful home to stay in. Fully equipped with every household item you might need. Local to some really lovely pubs, I reccomend the london inn, St Neot. But book! Close to the many local beauty spots, including Looe, Polperro. Plenty of farm shops to visit. Lots of areas to walk the dogs! I totally recommend this holiday cottage or Polhendra ju st down the road if you have a slightly larger group. Look forward to our visit next year.
Jack
The accommodation was perfect for the 5 of us who stayed. We couldn't ask for more from the hosts who let us go up and feed their alpacas one morning. We had a lovely cream tea left for us which we thought was a lovely touch. The majority of cleaning products we needed were at the site including washing tablets and dishwasher tablets. The hot tub w as beautiful even when we had a bit of snow. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
Maggie
Wonderful stay very comfy and relaxing hot tub fabulous would recommend great thanks Maggie and Phil
Sue
Beautiful property and very well equipped. Location so peaceful and the perfect escape from a busy work and family lifestyle. A vehicle a must and be prepared for some narrow country lanes. The hot tub so lovely to unwind in as the night draws in. Very helpful hosts. The property is very cosy and not cold end of October and the log burner will be s o cosy. Our weather was very wet which limited where we could visit with dogs. However, if you are looking for a quiet getaway you will love this.
Robyn
The Cottage was absolutely stunning, our Host Mandy was so lovely ans helpful! The whole cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed!
Gordon
It was like home - Perfect
Emily
Great holiday let, plenty of space for all, nice facilties. Hot tub is a lovely added bonus, along with the alpacas. Only rated some lower than 5 due to the location for getting places - you really need transport. Wasn't an issue for us, but something to consider. Would stay again.
Jean
Fox's Den was amazing just like home from home, everything you would need. It was beautifully clean very tastefully done, hot tub was an added bonus. I would highly recommend Mandy and Kelvins Fox's Den.
Michael
Wonderful welcome package of scones, jam and clotted cream. The house was super clean and functional. It was honestly the best cottage we have stayed at & we have stayed at a few. The decor throughout was outstanding & the little touches made it homey. The back garden was perfect for not only us but also our cockapoo. He found the stones nice and c ool in the heat - we did lay towels across them at times as he was finding it difficult to walk on them ( but he does have sensitive feet).
Samantha
We had a fantastic family holiday in Cornwall and cannot recommend this property enough! The owners are very chatty and attentive. The facilities were great and the hot tub was amazing! The owners also let us feed their alpacas which was an amazing experience. The location is ideal for all types of holiday, adventure or relax!

James
Fabulous location, friendly owners, spotless house, book it!
Lee
Perfect property, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone
Elizabeth
An amazing stay here. Cottage is a great property, didn't feel too big for just the 2 of us but still plenty of room if there had been more. Hot tub is a great bonus which we used wind, rain and sunshine and a great thing to come back to at the end of long days walking. We did walk down to the pub which is cosy and very friendly. Not too bad a walk in the light but be careful if you walk back in the dark - there isn't a pavement all the way so take a torch. Great stay, we'd love to come back.
Angela
The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the privacy even though owner was next door. Private garden perfect for kids and dogs Hot tub amazing The little touches of welcome scones jam and cream plus milk and coffee made it perfect.
Samantha
