We had a lovely stay at The Piggery! The place was spot on, just as describedand super comfy with everything we needed. Its location was perfect for hitting both north and south Cornwall - great for our walks. The private garden was ideal for the dogsand the hot tub was a real treat after a day on those steep coast paths. Steve and Traci were so friendly, making us feel really welcome without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely lovely time at the cottage. The location was perfect-central enough to explore Cornwall without feeling like we were travelling forever. The amenities were just right for us, especially the hot tub which was a real highlight after days spent walking along the beach. It was so relaxing! We’re already planning to come back. We had a wonderful stay at The Piggery at Glen View! The cottage is cosy and in the perfect spot to explore Cornwall, which we did plenty of. It was lovely to unwind in the evenings after our adventures. Steve, the host, was really welcoming and even pointed us towards a great dog-friendly pub. Our dog loved it too! Honestly, we can’t recommend it enough if you’re after a relaxed break in a beautiful setting. We’d definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay! At first, we thought being a bit inland might be an issue, but it turned out perfect for visiting all the places we wanted within half an hour. Honestly, it was so straightforward to leave this review! The cottage is just lovely-super cosy, peacefuland really well kitted out. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The bed is honestly the comfiest we've ever slept in, making it hard to get up! There’s plenty to explore nearbyand the hot tub was a real treat. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogand the thoughtful hamper from the hosts was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again!

We stumbled upon this cottage because it was available on our dates and ticked all our boxes - dog friendly, an EV chargerand a hot tub. Honestly, we’re so glad we did! It’s super close to Falmouth for visiting familyand the place is kept in great condition. The bed was surprisingly comfyand I usually struggle with them. Plus, getting all the logs for the fire included was a nice touch. The hot tub looks brand new and was a real treat after a day out. The owners were lovely and welcoming. We’re definitely coming back!

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
