Rosemary
A very rural barn conversion found after travelling along tiny Devon lanes. This ancient building makes a comfy holiday retreat. All around you are the sounds of the countryside - cows mooing, sheep bleating, cockerels crowing (not so welcome at 4.00 in the morning!!) and the chatter of numerous little birds. Mike and Shirley are the kindest hosts and happy to talk about the farm and show you some of the animals. Our grandson says he will miss Apollo and Annie (the ponies)!
Avis
We stayed with our daughter and the 2 toddling grandkids. The barn was perfect, safe for the little ones to run about inside and out and very comfortable. Lovely waking up to no sounds but the animals and birds and the hot tub was a great end to some busy days out. The location is very rural which we love but you can get to most attractions, the mo orland or the coast in under an hour. Shirley, Mike Cox & family, and the locals, were so welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
Rachel

The welcome scones were yummy and the hot tub was a god send, my children were in their element and loved all the anim als, especially Millie & Fern the farm dogs. If you love being in the middle of the countryside then you will love it here!!

We spent a perfect week in the 1450 Barn (couple and 2 children, 3 and pre-toddler) at the end of May. The location is a wonderful working farm and the host family live on site and are so friendly and kind. The property feels secluded and peaceful among all of the farm bustle. The enclosed garden is great for kids, the hot tub is tranquil and the a ccommodation had everything we needed for our family. Amazing beaches and fun days out all within 30-60 mins drive. We're already planning our return!

Vivien
Lovely cosy place to stay. The cottage was immaculate and very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and had left us a cream tea and other goodies. Millie the dog was a welcome daily visitor. The weather was variable but this did not detract from our enjoyment and we even managed a couple of dips in the hot tub. Would recommend the Duke of Yo rk and the New Inn for a good meal out. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this cottage and hope to return one day.
