Properly was very nice lovely views but if you go late September don't expect bar area and games room to be usable. On the plus side hot tub lovely, bedroom and bathroom lovely. If you have a dog if it rains garden full of slugs.

We had a lovely week staying in Kala's Cottage. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed and plenty of space. The scones and dog treats from Raffles on arrival were a really nice touch and we are missing the views already. We're looking forward to coming back!

At 943 for 3 nights in November, the finishing touches do not meet the luxury description. Holes are filled but not finished, walls are marked, the kitchen equipment is supermarket brand. The hot tub and enclosed area are unusable in bad weather due to the prevailing wind direction driving in the rain. The property is nice, but overpriced. From the moment we entered the westward living grounds we were in ore of the beautiful scenery. We stayed in Kalas cottage and from entering the cottage we felt welcomed and was stunned by the whole place from the luxurious furnishings, views from the living room and bedroom, underfloor heating, the hot tub on the balcony but for me it was the litt le details like tea, milk and Scones left for us and the robes and slippers. We literally wanted for nothing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. It had everything for a relaxing stay and we spent most of our time in it. The view from the balcony is amazing and we had the best neighbours during our stay, horses! There are plenty of footpaths around to do walking from the cottage. We loved walking to Westward Ho! sandy beach, which is circ a. 1.5m long. The beach is open to dogs from October to April so our pooch was able to join us. We also ordered food from farms, which was delicious!

We stayed in Kala lodge. From the minute we arrived we had a lovely greeting from Kathy. Cream tea and lots of extras was a delightful surprise. Extremely clean from top to tail, sofas comfortable and smell fresh and clean. Kitchen essentials all supplied and hygienic. Bed was so comfortable, beautiful bath and shower. This place is a absolute gem! The views are amazing. Lots of nice walks, Kathy gave us lots of ideas where to dine and places of interest. Hopefully one day we will be back.

As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
