Beautifully presented seaside cottage, ideal for a break in gorgeous Aberaeron. It is close to the restaurants and shops so you can nip out on foot for all your needs. Easy to park your car directly outside. Inside it is spacious and cosy and with clean bright decor. The hot tub is a delight after a long walk or lazy day reading by the fire. The cottage is in an ideal spot to act as a base for touring the coast. Aberaeron itself is very pretty and you have so much on your doorstep with regards food and drink. People watching is a great pastime when there are benches very close to the property which overlook the sea, although there isnt a lot of nautical activity on that stretch of the Read moreIrish Sea! We had a wonderful week in Aberaeron what a lovely town with great location. Walney is a very nice and comfortable house my family and our 2 dogs really enjoyed our stay. The areas we traveled around had stunning scenery and we particularly enjoyed Poppit Sands which is highly recommended.

This was the first cottage that we have stayed in that wasnt a National Trust property and the standard was excellent. The cottage is presented very well it was clean and well equipped. The furnishings and bathrooms are premium quality and the whole cottage is inviting and comfortable. We were concerned about the location but it is quiet and perfec tly situated for both the beach and the town. A parking space is right outside the window. I can recommend the cottage and we will be returning.

We loved the big dinning table & the outlook from it, ( bet its even better in the summer) Wine fridge was a nice plus. Plenty of hotel water, so the bath was well used. Great walks on our door step. Walnut is a delightful cottage perfectly located just next to the colourful harbour. The cottage itself has been recently renovated to a very high standard and has been tastefully decorated with a nautical theme. Despite both Storm Eunice and Franklin paying a visit during our stay we were warm and cosy inside with the log fire and still made a lot of use of the hot tub with the smart TVs in all rooms keeping us entertained.

The location (Aberaeron) is fantastic, a little windy with great walks and a quaint town. The cottage was ideally located near the coast path and a small walk onto the main high street. A dog friendly cottage will never be clean/clean, but very modern.

Loved our stay at Walney. It's a true home from home, with added luxury. 2 good sized bedrooms with gorgeous bathrooms. And a lovely courtyard, where the dogs could wander freely with no worries about them escaping, while we relaxed in the hot tub. And it's perfectly located, just a minutes walk to the shops, bars & restaurants of Aberaeron, & the coastal walk on your doorstep. Would highly recommend The Harbourmaster for their food, but particularly their coffee & cakes in an afternoon.

Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
