Glan Clwyd Isa - Cae Caled Cottage Reviews

Cyndie
In the absence of the owners, their older children were very friendly and helpful. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed several walks out the door and in the surrounding areas. Overall the place was lovely and comfortable. Lovely king bed made by the son. And I loved the bath tub! It's a very peaceful location with stunning views. However, there were a few quirky issues, poor lighting to read by at night, and awkward light switch locations. I imagine in the summer it is very busy with so many accommodated there. we were right by the gate into the swimming pool and the users of the pool were back and forth which was a bit unsettling. However the big picture is very good!

What a wonderful hidden gem. Absolutely ideal location for peace and quiet. Facilities not too far away. Owners fantastic. Couldnt have asked for a better place for a break and equipment supplied is more than what we have had before. Would recommend this too couples and the larger property to familys
Andrea
Wonderful stay at a beautiful location. Lovely owners who were very welcoming and helpful. Bobby dog had a great time.
We had a wonderful stay Thank you. The location is amazing, accommodation, pool and hot tub were fab and the owners and their son were really helpful and full of good ideas for days out etc.. Centrally located for easy reach to many locations, by car. No complaints or problems whatsoever. A great holiday. Thanks again.
What a little slice of paradise this is. A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Our hosts were helpful and showed us around upon arrival. The amenities were spot on. The hot tub was a special treat for myself and my daughter at the end of each day. We will definitely be back xx

Lovely cosy cottage, with great access to footpaths and river for exploring and dipping a rod, or dog! The hosts were very helpful and full of useful information. Will be returning.
The cottage was lovely, comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings and good facilities. Loved the Juliet balcony in the bedroom with distant views. The owners were very helpful and friendly, giving us any information we needed and we can also recommend the local pub The Dinorban Arms in Bodfari, the food and service was great. Nice walks across the fields to the river with our dog and the added luxury of the hot tub made for a great break and with lots to see and places to visit locally or slightly further afield, the location proved perfect. Thank you!
Jennifer
Lovely secluded place with gorgeous views. Loved the rustic farmhouse decor and furniture and all was very clean and comfy. Made good use of the private hot tub tucked away in the garden. Would definitely return recommend. Thanks for having us!
Cottage was lovely and very comfortable, perfect for a couple. The owners live right next door, and were very helpful with advice and directions, and left some nice touches like a bottle of wine on Christmas morning. Hot tub was brilliant. Plenty of lovely walks for the dog. We would definitely stay there again.

Secluded location, but with owners next door and attentive to anything wanted. Beautiful setting grounds and views. Very pleasant heated outdoor pool. Well furnished, spacious cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cae Caled Cottage which is well catered for and in such a beautiful area of North Wales. If you want to relax this is the place to stay. Lovely walks from the Cottage and dogs are also welcome. Local attractions ,Snowdonia ,beaches and Chester near by.

We had a great Christmas in the cottage. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. It couldn't have been better.
Coming down the lane towards the cottage Glan Clwyd Isa it was breath taking . We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage and would highly recommend ,and the owners were very helpfull
Its a lovely cottage. Beautiful scenery. Very dog friendly and welcoming.
We chose this property as it appeared from your advertising to be the only one on the farm obviously apart from the owner's property. We found that there are other properties two perhaps three and what appeared to be a private garden area for our exclusive use was in fact shared. We were particularly disappointed when on more than one occasion one of the other guests walked her dog across the grass in full view of our property whilst smoking the guest not the dog!. We much prefer to be away from other people whilst on holiday and this was one of the reasons for selecting this cottage. The location was very good for us to explore North Wales. The whole property was a little tired and although looked as though a lot of thought had gone into the original design the upkeep has not been maintained. Not sure when the photographs for your web site were taken but perhaps you should visit to see how it looks now. We had meant to leave a list of specifics for the owner but forgot, the list will be sent direct to them.

Great location with wonderful views and lovely grounds. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and had King sized bed. Often met the owner whilst he was on his chores very friendly and a keen and experienced horticulturalist who gave an enthusiastic tour of the grounds. A very pleasant stay with a throughly nice atmosphere. Ideal location to explore the area including the north wales coast and Snowdonia National Park. Also very dog friendly.
The secluded location was really quiet and relaxing and the owners of the property were on site with local recommendations for places to visit and eat out. The swimming pool was a welcome bonus as we visited during a heatwave and the surrounding fields of animals and small wooded area and ponds had plenty of interest for our two dogs. The nearest pub is dog friendly and also very good and nowhere is too far to travel for good walks and sightseeing. Excellent, would definitely go back to the same premises.
Had a really relaxing stay in a great dog friendly location. Easy accessable and good eslocation as a base to visit different areas of North Wales. Can't praise the cottage and holiday enough as theres great local Wales, dog friendly pubs, and the cottage by far exceeded our expectations as you couldn't ask for more. Large open plan living roomkitchen, enormous bed and spacious bedroom and a fantastic show and bath. This cottage has all the amenities you could ever want. We will definitely be returning another holiday as we had a five star relaxing stay and welcome.
We both really enjoyed our seven nights here. We were surrounded by fields and lovely tranquil views in all directions. I shall recommend this cottage to my friends. Anne Bertoluzzi
Fantastic location, peaceful away from it all but many attractions within a short car drive away. Pub in village serving excellent meals and a good range of real ale beers, very dog friendly. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
