Rose Cottage Reviews

Absolutely loved staying here! Perfect Christmas break for the family, enough chairs, big enough oven for dinner, kitchen very well equipped! Perfect size for 8 people and the owners were lovely and very responsive with every request we had. Would happily return!
Lovely cottage, easy to feel at home. Safe & Secure off road car parking. Children loved the hot tub, jacuzzi bath & the garden!! Great facilities, WiFiwashing machinetumble dryerdishwasherfull kitchen plenty of fridge & freezer space & access to a washing line all of which made our stay with x4 children easier ! We had days out to llandudno, chester zoo, rhyl sc2 swimming pool, ice cream farm kids had a great time. Supermarket, pharmacy etc are only a short drive away. Lovely owners, friendly & helpful.
Great welcome very nice owners next door. Spacious cottage comfortable beds. Ideal touring base for all North Wales including castles, beaches .snowdonia, Llangollen, horseshoe pass, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage site. Also great for access to Chester , Liverpool and Wrexham. Excellent Italian restaurant ConAmici in Denbigh pre book table twiceyou will want to go back!!.
Extremely well equipped, The hosts were very welcoming and informative of the area. We had a wonderful time staying at Rose Cottage and would definitely recommend it.
Great relaxing break. Owners were lovely.
Excellent cottage, great communication and handover from the owners who could not do enough to assist our stay. Overall a fantastic holiday had by all. Great location for North Wales
Had a wonderful five days at Rose Cottage with my grandchildren during the first week in August. Beautiful cottage, very spacious and homely, had everything you could wish for a very comfortable stay. Lovely gardens and the hot tub was a massive hit with the children. The hosts, Emyr and Anwen were so welcoming and helpful. Gave us lots of tips for the best beaches to visit and the local amenities. They were so kind, even posted a left behind much loved soft hippo. It really is a fabulous base to stay at, so peaceful with the most amazing views. Would definitely recommend, personally would love to return in the future.
The property and location were wonderful. The owners were so friendly and the personal touches that they provided were so thoughtful. The kitchen had everything you needed and more for a self catering holiday and the other facilities such as washing machine and tumble drier were welcome extras. The hot tub was such a bonus and we even used it in February. The views whilst sitting in it are truly idyllic. The spa bath and spa shower really add to the luxury of the property as well as the heated flooring in the downstairs bathroom. We would highly recommend staying at Rose Cottage and will be booking to go again.

We had a great time at Rose Cottage. We attended for a belated 40th birthday celebration. The owners of the property were so warm and welcoming. They were in regular contact leading up to our arrival. They left a bottle of wine & some chocolates for us. There were books with any information you could need for the stay, from taxi numbers to takeaways, and places to eat out and visit. The location was truly beautiful, room for a number of cars on the drive. The bedrooms were a decent size and 8 adults had more than enough room. The kitchen area was nice and big and had everything we needed. Also some biscuits left by the owners which were a nice treat. There were tea, coffee and sugar in the pots, so bringing our own was a bit of a waste. There was access to two fridges one in the main kitchen and one in the garage. The hot tub was lovely and was bigger than it looked in the pictures. The location is 5 mins from local shop, and just under 10 mins to a Aldi, Morrisons and Denbigh centre. We will 100 be visiting again and were very pleased with all of our stay. If I was to give feedback of how I think it could be better I would say more outdoor lighting but this was due to us spending a lot of time outdoors in the evenings due to having to social distance with a family member who was shielding who came to visit us as they lived nearby Other than that I could not fault the location, the owners or the whole booking process. Thank you, great time had by all
Lovely views and fab hot tub. The owners are really friendly and very helpful. There was everything we needed in the cottage.
Denise
The cottage was all that was needed for great break. All as expected. The only negative about the holiday was that local pubs advertised as within walking distance were all closed due to current restrictions.
The owners Emyr and Anwen were dedicated to excellent customer service and on hand to sort put any little issues we had, which was amazing. Rose Cottage was a well equipped and spacious cottage and a fabulous base base our explorations! The only downside was that the pubs and local.shop within walking distance have all closed down due to the pandemic, so we had to drive a bit further afield.
Fabulous cottage Lovely owners Great facilities
Owners Emyr and Anwen were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again
Emyr and Anwen were fantastic and welcoming. We had the most wonderful week. Everything in the cottage we could need. Games were a nice extra for the children. Lovely location and fab food in the local pub. Would definitely visit again.
We were greeted at Rose Cottage by the owners who showed us round, checked we had everything we needed and made us feel really welcome. The cottage was really clean, well equipped and comfy. It was lovely. The hot tub was amazing as were the big gardens which our children loved playing football in. We couldnt have been better looked after as my son said, The best holiday cottage weve been too!
We had s fantastic time at Rose Cottage, great location. The property was spotless and better than the photographs portray which is always great. The owners were really hospitable and great hosts. On hand if needed but we were very much left to ourselves which was great.
Fabulous, dont need to say anything else!
The owners of the cottage were great and were happy for us to decorate the cottage like it was Christmas. Myself and seven friends had the best time for our works Christmas Party. It felt like home from the minute we walked in. We will definitely be back

Had a wonderful week at Rose Cottage. So spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners Emyr and Anwen were delightful, very friendly and always on hand if needed but not intrusive. Would happily stay there again if visiting the area. The hot tub was a real treat!! We eat out all the time, but everything was catered for if you wanted to cook. Can't recommend it enough
Robert
Very welcoming and friendly owners. Great location quiet, peaceful, Within easy reach of tourist destinations, Good pubs nearby for food Excellent cottage Exactly what we required especially two bathrooms is a real bonus
Owners of the cottage Mr and Mrs Morris were wonderful, great warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Just had a week's holiday at the cottage and couldn't recommend it more, the owners were really friendly and willing to help and the house was lovely with everything you would need. Location is good set in a quite village with a few bars a short walk away, with Snowdonia and some of the best mountain biking courses just a short drive away will definitely be back in the future and would 100 reccomend staying here
Lovely welcome from Emyr and Anwen, Very thoughtful to have everything you could need and plenty of it, The property was lovely spotlessly clean and warm within easy reach of Chester, Liverpool, Shrewsbury, Caernarvon and Snowdonia. We had a lovely time and would definitely go back again.
Rose cottage was lovely, the hosts met us on arrival and gave us a quick tourinstructions. The property was very well equipped, clean and set in a beautiful location. The hot tub was also a very welcome extra. The hosts kindly agreed a late checkout which helped us to make the most of our stay, would book again.
Anthony
We found it very good, the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The property was very good indeed and the hot tub was a bonus. Everything met our expectations. Wi fi was a bit wavy but probably due to the location.
Catherine
A fabulous girly weekend in a fabulous cottage. The hot tub was definitely a hit! In terms of location for walking Snowdon not so great as it was over an hour away but that didn't spoil our weekend as we ended up doing a walk near the cottage instead. The cottage was so well equipped and very comfortable. Immaculately kept as well, Thank you for a great weekend.
Elaine
The property is of a high level and worth a stay.
Rose Cottage is a place that is tailormade for relaxation. Also, it's owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
Perfect place to rest and relax. Cottage is amazing and owners is a great, kind people. Would recommend it for sure.
Nicola
Everything was amazing, only small thing is was scared to make any mess as the owners are very particular about cleaning. They was really nice just felt like we had to be careful not to mess anything up. But would go again.
