Hay Store Reviews

Perfect accommodation in a stunning location. Everything that you needed was in the lodge.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Weather was wonderful which helped, a fantastic cottage with brilliant views..would definitely recommend and will visit again in the future. Kids loved it also.

Wow what a view! The Hay Store was stunning, spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable with great mattresses and bedding. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in and enjoy the incredible views of the Welsh valley and hills looking out over a field of beautiful cows. We loved the goats out the front and views from the master bedroom of the river below. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
The Hay store was a lovely cottage in an idyllic setting, just the place to destress. Hot tub was checked every morning and items such as eggs, milk, wash up liquid and hand sanitizers left for us was very thoughtful.
Julia the owner was very courteous and knowledgeable of the local area. The Haystore was clean, spacious, relaxing with amazing views. Me and my partner didnt want to come home.

Already told the owner that the lamp in our room wasnt working and the shower in the other bedroom leaked.
Clean and comfortable. Wifi was poor. Some soft lightinglampshades in the living room would be good.

This was an amazing property that really suited our needs. Somewhere to get away from it all and have some downtime. The facilities were excellent and the downstairs bedroom and wet room perfect for elderly parents. Table was a great size and allowed us to have a jigsaw on the go at one end and eat at the other. Hot tub was amazing and very well maintained and easy to operate we used it daily 4pm was hot tub time
Cant fault the cottage at all, it was super clean, with everything you would need for a lovely break away. Even fly spray was most appreciated. Just wish we had booked to stay longer to explore the area more. Hopefully visit sometime soon.
We had a lovely stay at The Hay Store. We did have a few issues when we was there 1 being a lot of flies no matter how many we killed with spray etc they would not go. We were advised that this had never been an issue before but was really off putting when cooking food. The only other negative we had was with the hot tub not being private, it was next to the car park and we found the family staying next door would walk past to and from their car which made us feel very awkward. The hosts were lovely, very helpful and friendly.
Wonderful place to stay

We had such an amazing stay at hay store! Everything was perfect , from location to cleanliness in the cottage. Views are awesome, hot tub was looked after by host every morning, we even had fresh free range eggs and milk on welcome. Very nice inside and outside. Loved the morning view with a cup of coffee in the mountains and fields of sheep and little lambs playing around. Owner was very friendly and kind. We really really enjoyed at this place and will definitely come back there ! Nice private place if you want a good break from humans and city. Loved it and rate it millions of stars!!!!
Gillian
We had a lovely stay. Beautiful countryside and the cottage was very comfortable. One of our neighbours were loud one night and kept us awake for a while. But other than that we had a nice break.
