We were in need of some timeout and this holiday home was absolutely perfect in a beautiful rural setting with local community nearby. We had such a wonderful week at Pentre Trewyn! There is lots of space, both inside and in the garden, which our children loved. The bedrooms and bathroom are also very spacious. The hot tub is lovely; it does require some time getting it heated up and looking after the fire, but its very nice!

Our objective was to be very relaxed and the property certainly achieved that for us, a very pleasant stay, with everything we needed in the cottage, we had a problem with the oil fired boiler when we first arrived and the property owner had it sorted within thirty minutes, impressive!

This is a lovely home with fantastic views and ample space for a family get together. The garden to the front is enclosed so helpful if you have a dog. The wood fired hot tub was also a great hit and was ready for us on arrival. Its very close to the Grouse Inn which we would highly recommend for food and drinks.

Had a lovely weekend in this property in a group of 5. Stunning location, amazing views from all angles and so private. Beds surprisingly comfy, very cold upstairs but they supply plenty of blankets and has a beautiful log fire. Would 100% stay again!
Sharon
Beautiful house and garden, and well appointed throughout, with very comfortable beds. The most beautiful views and on a quiet lane with (some but not much) traffic, makes it a very relaxing place to stay. Walking distance to Corwen with good local shops. Lots of choices for walks straight out the door, including a good field in the village for dog walking off a lead. 2 miles to Carrog with a very good pub, and generally a good place for wider access to explore.
Lisa

Large rooms, enclosed garden and 15 minute walk to the local town where there is a good general store and lovely cafe Yum Yum Permission to walk our dog up the hill behind the house. we ll situated for trips to llangollen and Chester also an hour from Liverpool. Hot water is slow but boiling hot be carefully with children!

For potential new guests, the cottage is part of this house not all of it as initially thought. I note it does say semi detached so just must have missed this in the description. The cottage is fine, the bed linen and towels were good quality.
Sharon

The cottage is beautiful and huge! Tasteful decoration and great facilities, the hot tub was amazing... Surpassed only by the views from the BBQ area on the front lawn down the valley to the river with the mountains beyond!
Caroline
Beautiful views of the Dee Valley from this lovely period cottage. Well equipped, comfortable and characterful, set in a very peaceful spot. The secluded hot tub also enjoys the views, with plenty of towels provided. The enclosed and spacious garden and patio are good for dogs too. Nearby Corwen provides takeaways (fish and chips excellent) and a s mall supermarket.
Rachel
Stay here its lovey, peaceful and remote. Everything has been thought of and thought out carefully. Owners are lovely and very approachable. I would stay again for sure.
Myra
What a beautiful location for a truly wonderful cottage. Extremely spacious with steps down from the kitchen and dining room to the hallway and lounge respectively. Utility space with sink, washing machine and shower room. Amazing soft fluffy towels for the bathroom to towels for the hot tub provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are two fridges both with small freezer compartments. The enclosed garden and patio is all gated so very safe for children and pets. Hot tub with views.
Deborah
The house is ideal for families, couples or just 2 people. Very spacious, clean, beautiful furniture and well looked after. A real home from home - everything you might need and expect in your own home. The hot tub is fun once you can light the fire, big enough for 4 big adults - easy to set up and come back to later. Garden is dog friendly, netted and fenced - patio area secure. Plenty of parking. We had a brilliant stay - perfect location for visiting North Wales. Would come again.
Cath

The cottage is very comfortable and is set in a lovely quiet location but accessible to reach the tourist attractions of north wales. The hot tub provides relaxation after a day of activities in the hills or on the water. Some great local pubs nearby and a handy post office that sells nearly anything you may have forgotten for your trip. Would reco mmend this property to family / friends and look forward to a future stay, only wish we had stayed longer this time.
Paul
Lovely property in a quiet area, the views are breathtaking and we loved the garden and hot tub. The cottage was clean and had lots of amenities at hand. A lot of thought has gone into the layout, content and decor. We especially loved the open fire fire, in the lounge, which was lovely to use In Corwen village a short walk away is a Nisa which was perfect for stocking up on supplies and a few local pubs.. An ideal base for visits to Llandudno, Betwys-y-coed and Conwy. We hope to return
Emma
Beautiful countryside house, full of character. Wood fired hottub was a winner with the kids as they loved the smell of campfire as we relaxed in the peaceful location. Lots of lovely touches provided by the owners, including a generous supply of wood and fluffy towels all round. Local amenities were close enough and enjoyed walks up the mountain b ehind the property. The one elderly neighbour was lovely and the property peaceful. We'd definitely recommend this property for a relaxing break.
