Y Bwthyn Reviews

I absolutely love it this is my dream holiday I'm already tell family and friends about it
The property is a detached house within a working farm complex. My problem upstairs was bending over to avoid bumping my head on a slanting ceiling. The double bed wasn't big enough for two,so I used a single bed in a second bedroom. The property was spotlessly clean but a car is required to get out and about.proprietors are very amiable
Had a fantastic week with the family. Kids loved the farm and all of the facilities were top class. Thank you for a wonderful trip. Diolch

Great place for families. Get to feed animals with farmer daily. Kids spent hours playing pool and table tennis. Free weekly BBQ would highly recommend.

Had a great week here. The hosts Alwyn and Sharon were fantastic. We found the cottage clean and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were a great addition and we used it everyday. Dispite it being a working farm, it was quiet, and you are able to interact with the animals.

1 0f the best I've stayed in with nice owners and great place

Just back from an absolutely fantastic break at this place. Wonderful clean cottage with all the amenities you need, on site indoor swimming pool, games room and also a gym. The hosts are great people and as it's a working farm they allow you feed the lambs and other things as well when available, brilliant place if you have kids!!
Great location and facilities. Friendly owners, highly recommended.
Gwynfryn Farm is situated in a stunning location and had no trouble finding it with the clear directions given. We were met by the friendly owners Sharon and Alwyn, however, we were given an upgrade to Gwynant as Y Bwthyn had inadequate heating hence this review is not based on the Sykes advertised property. Having said that, the cottage was beautiful, immaculately clean, warm, comfortable and had every possible gadgetappliance you and your family could need. The leisure complex is wonderful, large swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, however, you do need to book a slot so it is not over crowded which suited my 10 year old granddaughter with autism! The incredible games room was again a hit with my family and spent many an hour there in fact you neednt go too far as the facilitiesactivities are fantastic! We were fortunate to have some mild and sunny days so visited the nearby beautiful beaches of Pwhelli and Abersoch and ate some delicious fish and chips from Allports in town. We all had a fantastic time and would love to return in the not so distant future and highly recommend this!
On arrival we were upgraded to another cottage, the cottage was spotless and really cosy, facilities were brilliant, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fully fitted gym, games room. Brilliant week
Graham
An amazing place. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The cottage was furnished to a high standard and very clean and comfortable. The amenities were great with a fully fitted gym and an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic week spent at gwynfryn farm, owner's were really lovely people who will do anything to help. We enjoyed a lovely BBQ cooked by the owner's which was 1010 amazing. Cottage was lovely & clean with everything we needed. Games room was brilliant for the kids & us adults enjoyed it too. Swimming pool was great we went swimming every day. Owner's also take the kids round the farm & feed the animals which my kids loved. Not far from the town which had lots of little shops & great ice cream. Amazing place to stay we loved it & would highly recommend to everyone

We absolutely loved our stay at the farm. The facilities were excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. It's a perfect place for a break with kids and a great location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. Would highly recommend.

Lauren
Fabulous holiday cottage with great facilities and a very warm welcome. It was perfect for the two of us and our two retired racing Greyhounds who loved the surrounding gardens. Very close to Pwllheli for the beach and shops we'll be back!
We have just arrived back from a lovely stay at Gwynfryn. Very thankful for the cottage upgrade to one which was fully central heated the on site facilities were fab and definitely one of the main reasons we booked. Check in was seamless and made a good base for lots of activities in the area. Friendly hosts and an even friendlier cat. Would 100 recommend, perfect for families or couples and hope to be back next year.
Catherine
Thank you Sharon for a brilliant week spent at Tegid, we felt welcomed and very at home, didn't want to come home. The facilities are great and watching the cows getting milked was a nice surprise. Wee both enjoyed our stay..... As did the dogs, you made us feel very welcome, we will definately come back again and will recommend you to all our friends and family. 5 stars all round. See you next year. Have a good Christmas and all the best for new year.

We have just returned from an amazing break at Y Bwythn. I cannot rate this place enough! Fantastic facilities and even better hosts, we had the best time! Would definitely recommend
Kitchen had a funny smell, sink hot water was boiling all time, games room and pool room was brilliant. Wish we had more time to spend there

Beautiful property and location, good vibes all round D
Great place to stay. Facilities top class. Cottage was nice and cozy
It was a lovely weekend, the cottage was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and facilities. Highly recommend
Lovely people and a really lovely peaceful place
The property particulars said there was a walk in shower at the property but unfortunately it was over the bath. I would not have booked the property if I had been aware of this. This was a problem due to severe arthritis in knees. We stripped the beds as requested on our departure and found a large stain on the bed.
Nicola
Accomodation was exactly as expected. The farm owners went out of their way to make our holiday special, genuinely lovely people.
Douglas
Very comfortable with good quality furniture and fittings. The only downside for me was the stairs. They have a tight turn at the top and are narrow, there are handrails on both sides all the way up but being 70 with bad legs and stiff joints I struggled. Had we known at the start we may have thought twice. As it was the accommodation made up for what was for me a draw back. You just need to be aware.
Olivia
The hosts were absolutely lovely! They really made us feel welcome and relaxed. The location and the setting were beautiful and well worth the stay! The cottage we stayed in was wonderful and they upgraded us when we arrived which was a really lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay but with plenty of things to do and see!
