Welcome to Stabal y Barcud, a splendid converted stable located on the outskirts of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park in Brecon, Mid Wales. This cosy retreat sleeps up to five guests, making it perfect for families or friends looking for a countryside escape.

Inside, you'll find a bright and breezy country-style decor with exposed beams and original features.

The spacious kitchen/diner is well-equipped for preparing meals, and the lounge offers a comfortable space to relax with a TV/DVD and a flame-effect electric fire for those chilly evenings.

The cottage features two attractive bedrooms upstairs. One is a family room with a double bed and a single bed, while the other is a double bedroom with a Juliet balcony.

Both rooms have sloping ceilings and ample storage. A stylish bathroom with a Welsh slate floor completes the upstairs.

Step outside from the kitchen to a sunny patio area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.
