This wonderful detached lodge is situated in a peaceful location, privately landscaped, next to another self-catering lodge, on the edge of the ownersÂ’ working livestock farm, just four miles from the delightful and welcoming market town of Rhayader in Mid Wales. Built by the owners and boasting a Green Tourism Gold Award, this Rhayader cottage offers a range of luxuries including its own private 6-seater hot tub with fabulous countryside views, perfect for a family holiday.
The under floor heating and wonderful glass frontage means the lodge is warm and cosy, while the eco-friendly Air-to-Air Conditioning unit cools the lodge in summer months. All set on the ground floor and with ramped access to the side, this superb cottage near Rhayader offers three comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom with a range of luxurious toiletries, and there's a second separate basin and WC located in the lobby.
The spacious open plan living area is home to a very well-equipped kitchen, a large dining table and sumptuous leather sofas, where you can sit back and relax after a day spent exploring the local area. Step outside onto the deck and luxuriate in the bubbling hot tub, where you can spot all manner of wildlife in the surrounding fields and in the evening enjoy a stargazing experience with the area's International Dark Skies states; you will hopefully see planets and shooting stars.
The fully enclosed garden at this Mid Wales lodge features a lawned area with outdoor furniture and sun loungers, whilst to the side of the cottage is a small patio with birdfeeders, where you can watch a wide variety of birds from the kitchen window, and there's a locakable shed for storing bikes. A superb area for walkers, the owners of this Mid Wales lodge have created their own nature farm trails, where guests can tour through the fields with a map and leaflet to explore the natural landscape, wildlife and heritage sites and interest.
