Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Everything you could possibly need provided for you
Louise
We had a brilliant weekend. The barn is well equipped and the beds were comfy. The hot hub was very spacious and a treat to go in. The information given before our trip was very detailed. Would love to visit and stay again one day.
Anna
Absolutely fantastic stay! Hot tub was a lovely treat. House had everything we needed for the weekend. Surrounding area was beautiful, full of amazing walks. Would definitely recommend to stay here and would love to come back. Thank you so much
Neil
Lovely remote old barn conversion, perfect for escaping the day to day. Big family friendly rooms and footpath walks straight out of the front door. Although it felt remote we were still only 15mins drive from Abergavenny, which has lot's of shops and cafes. Hot tub was brilliant, nice and big!
Jodi
This setting was idyllic, the ponies were friendly and mischievous, the views were fresh and just beautiful, this place was amazing for recharging our batteries after a heavy work year. I wish I had spent more time just chilling and reading a book as I already know the area. The cottage itself had everything you could possibly need. The dogs thoughRead moret they were in heaven, and "poo picking" was not a chore when the surroundings are as delightful as this. Hide

This cottage was fantastic for us - the narrow track adds to the adventure of finding this isolated spot. The cottage has a very welcoming feel. We loved the large window, looking out at the sheep and horses and the stream running alongside. The garage storage was great for bikes. It is a great location to walk and bike from, to explore around and Read moreto relax. Hide

Idyllic barn conversion in the middle of nowhere, if you are looking for total peace and quiet this is the place to go. The owners have thought of everything for you to have a lovely cosy holiday, the Hot-tub is a real treat to come home to after a long walk. Very narrow road to the Barn from the village and even narrower track when you leave the r oad, you need to be a very confident driver, and good at reversing. The village of Govilon has a very good Shop and Pub.
John
Lovely, remote cottage with outstanding views. A really peaceful stay and we enjoyed meeting the neighbours (4 horses and several sheep) and watching the sunset whilst enjoying a drink in the hot tub. The road and track to the property was a bit challenging but worth it.
Samin
A bit awkward to get to, but worth it. Spacious cottage with all facilities, felt like a home from home. Gorgeous views, gorgeous hot tub. Well maintained. Everything you need is there. Comfy beds. And the kids loved feeding the animals!
Sharlene
This was a perfect place for us to base ourselves for the week while we did day walks and biking. We had a couple of beautiful starry nights. The spa was very welcome after long walks. We found the weather chilly so appreciated the aga ticking over slowly while we were there. The views of the sheep and horses outside the window kept us entertained. And we loved having a Nespresso machine - thank you!
Alie
Tumbles End was the most idyllic location imaginable! It was well equipped, comfortable and homely. From the moment you walk in the door you feel yourself relaxing from it all. The hot tub and patio area with a BBQ were a wonderful space for relaxing after a day trekking in the Brecons. Easy check in, Wi-Fi throughout and a wonderful log burner for those chilly evenings. Would 100% recommend.
Caroline
One of the best properties we have stayed in. Owners thought of Everything and the information given prior to arrival gave links for operating equipment, heating etc. Plenty of great walks and locations to visit making this a wonderful base
Nathan
Really fantastic cottage with lovely owners. It is set back a little from the main road, with a track that may be difficult to navigate in certain vehicles, however the actual property is very tranquil and peaceful. The connected garage had everything you could need during your stay and there's plenty to do pending a short drive. The sheep and hors es in the adjoining field also kept us...especially our dog, very entertained.
Clive
A wonderful cottage set in an ideal location. Everything you could wish for in a relaxing holiday.
Lisa
This place is a amazing setting, the best views you can imagine, from looking at the mountains or watching the sheep's and lambs. The hot tub is a bonus, definitely will be going back.
Duncan
Fantastic cottage nestled in the foothills of a valley with a 'miles from anywhere' feeling. The property has plenty of space for relaxation and beautiful views to the surrounding countryside and livestock, including southwest facing hotub! There's no area for dogs to be off lead, however a walk up the slopes takes you to a wonderful ridge that was an old mining route with plenty of space for dogs to roam. Shops are a short drive away, as are some incredible walks in the Brecon Beacons.
Nicola
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Cottage was equipped with everything you could need and was spotless. Waking up to wildlife looking through the windows was amazing. The only downfall was the narrow track to get to the property. However, once you've done it a couple of times, it's fine. We spent a week as a family aged 17 to 60 over New Year and would ALL love to return in summer.
Kristian
Perfect house in perfect location
Joe
Great location and walked to top lakes on day one within hrs of arriving with all 3 dogs and family. Tight lane to house but then opens to Barn and river with horses and sheep at windows in morning. Try Indian restaurant in Crick Howel as in email pack info was fantastic. Fantastic Hot Tub and snug a great area, with plenty of room throughout with a nice bottle of bubbly on arrival many thanks from all Romos.
Dawn
We have just returned from spending a week a this lovely cottage/barn. The location is just wonderful, and waking up each morning to the sound of the river was just beautiful . The barn is superbly equipped, it's clean, and very comfortable. We loved seeing the ponies and sheep coming right up to the large window in the lounge. We spent our week vi siting local attractions, and I'd especially recommend the Four Waterfalls walk, Raglan Castle, and the Big Pit. Also try The Crown at Pantygelli.
Paul
The cottage was amazing and the view was outstanding. We sat in the hot tub in the dark and looked at the stars. We were able to take our dogs on some lovely walks. The cottage was perfect for the dogs. They had a wonderful time.
Leslie
Absolute luxery. And spotlessly clean in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for getting away and chilling out. Couldn't of asked for more. Hot tub a big plus.wirh just the sounds of the stream and wildlife. Our 2 border terriers had a blast with lots of secret walks to discover. Would definitely book here again
Glenda
A beautiful location, cottage was homely and a great place to relax. A little more information on walks from the cottage would have been useful, Internet only showed walks from the village which we couldn't walk to with dogs due to narrow road.
Peter
The barn is fantastic and if you're looking for a base to go walking/exploring it is great. You can literally join walks from the front door and the setting is superb. Only one word of caution, the track (unmade road) from the end of Cwm Lane to the barn is about 100m long and in places is very narrow with stone walls and banks close on either side . If you have a large/wide vehicle or are a nervous driver you will find access difficult. They do warn about this so please take note.
Victoria
The barn is in an perfect, isolated location. A getaway from busy work lives, we literally stopped and switched off. Utter bliss! Everything we could have wanted on hand. The owners have thought of everything; including a bottle of Prosecco on arrival! The barn is wonderful, the walks & views are breathtaking.we didnt want to come home!
Vicky
Really delightful property in a supreme setting. Plenty of activities and things to see in the location - in fact, we ran out of time to take it all in so will have to come back!
Cindy
We really had a lovely time, the owners furnished this property well with thought... The beds and pillows are great and very comfortable... even the smaller touches like a bottle of bubbly and some comfort throws. The home is well kept and the views are stunning... To have been so off grid was pretty amazing and the hot tub really helps. The owners were very kind and responsive. Thank you for a lovely break
Kate
Such a unique place to stay. It was a shame we had an event to go to as we could easily have spent all of our time wondering the many trails through the woods. The long narrow driveway was a bit of an adventure but fine even with our wide T5, so that wouldn't put us off coming again.
Gary
A lovely peaceful break in a lovely barn conversion was just what we were looking for and thats what we had. Great for walking our two labradors and exploring the trails all around the properties vicinity. Accommodation very clean, well specked and well equipped. Hot tub was extremely clean and very pleasant.
Priscilla
The cottage and its situation exceeded expectations.Though close to Abergavenny,it felt much more remote and peaceful.Beautiful hill country.Warm, comfortable and clean accommodation, very well thought out and equipped.
Liz
Super accommodation in a beautiful area. The Barn is finished to a high standard . Relaxing space both inside and out with the bonus of a hot tub . Great location for walking .
Julie
Stunning location with everything provided.
Toni
Gorgeous property and one if the best tranquil stays for peace and relaxation that we have ever experienced. Stunning setting and luxury of a hot tub. The only negative was the lane is very narrow with stone walls either side, tight in places so caution is needed driving in and out especially at night or bad weather.
Robert
Lovely location beautiful cottage, entrance was very tight for car to get down but once there worth the queeze.. Dogs loved watching out in the sheep in the field and sitting by the fire, Very well equipped has everything you possibly need heated flooring throughout also Lovely stay thank you
Sarah
Just perfect... From the outside, a traditional barn in a stunning location. From the inside, everything is geared towards your comfort and relaxation. Stayed with two kids (6 and 8) and we loved everything about Tumble's End. What could be better than sitting in a hot tub, gazing at the moon, with nothing but the sound of owls hooting in the woods , and the bubbling stream on your doorstep!!
Anna
Wonderful weekend with friends! The barn has all you need, well equipped, gorgeous location, great walks, relaxing with views in the hot tub. We will be back!
Stephen
Lovely spot to recharge the batteries, will be looking to stay again next year.
Sally
What a wonderful hidden gem! A superb retreat away from it all, you won't be disappointed. Would absolutely love to come back, James was nearby to help with anything if needed. Perfect, Thank you!
Sarah
What an amazing place the location is stunning. The barn is beautifully finished and the owner has thought a everything you may need for the perfect stay.
