Acacia Barn Reviews

We really loved the property and enjoyed the stay the hosts were excellent and responsive However the property was advertised with internet and we had none all week ! !!! I know this was not down to the Hosts a BT issue but it did spoil our stay a little meaning we had to leave property more times than we really wanted to as had to go into towns for reliable WiFi connections for work, etc. We had planned to spend the entire week in as we had all our provisions but never mind ! I hope its fixed now......

Property is done very nicely, providing plenty of space. Comfortable sofas and beds. Just lacks a few practical essentials in the kitchen saltpepper, washing up liquid, extra bin bags so you need to take these with you. Would benefit also with a mirror in the shower room
Simone
This is a beautiful property and a lovely location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed by the lack of essentials that we are used to when staying somewhere like this, no bin bags, washing up liquid, cleaning products whilst you take your own things to a stay like this, these simple items would of made it easier to take care of the property like we would our own house. We had to go out to buy these essentials and the first night the shop was closed so that was an inconvenience. Overall we would recommend this property but do feel the little touches would of been what made this a 5 star stay.
Kathleen
Beautiful place, peaceful, well equipped. A lovely time was had by all.
What a wonderful property in a wonderful setting. If your after peace and quite this place is perfect. The huge garden was enjoyed by our 3 children. The property was well maintained and clean with everything needed for our stay. We highly recommend the Marley bow if your looking for a nice pub dinner although advise to book.

Having stayed at quite a few lodgesbarns in the past we were a little disappointed with the lack of essentials on arrival. It is usual to have a welcome pack which contains at least some milktea bags. There was just enough of towels toilet rolls and no hair dryer. The pans had seen better days and no oven gloves. Yes the barn was very clean and tastefully decorated but its the little things that matter when you are only there for 3 nights and travelled some distance to get there. We did enjoy our stay and love having a hot tub, would we go back, sorry no ,its those little things that were scrimped on that make the difference.

We had a lovely stay for my 30th birthday. The barn was decorated upon arrival and in pristine condition! Our 2 toddlers loved the large garden to run around on, the hot tub was great it even connected to your phone to play music. We have stayed in a lot of lodges cottages and this one definitely tops them all. We even got to speak to the owners upon check out who were very friendly. Thank you very much for a lovely week, we will definitely be back!
Property was perfect for are little family stay and the owner was great and ... Property was perfect for are little family stay and the owner was great and helped with everything straight away cant wait to go back
A really beautiful property in a peaceful location and not too far away from things to do. Very comfy beds and the house was spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend!
Jonathan
So relaxing we loved it we would go again thanks
Really lovely accommodation and very peaceful. Comfy beds and clean and tidy. Would be nice if the property had some of the essentials like teasugarcoffeewashing up liquid etc and quite surprised no welcome pack which seems to be a standard nowadays and always a little treat for visitors. The hot tub was nice however it did have a lot of bits in it and was a little soapy the water had a film to it? This doesnt distract from us having a lovely time. Just some feedback to delight future customers.
Ramona
An amazing location in the middle of the countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spacious garden for kids to run around, clean, well equipped and beautifully designed. The hot tub is a great feature of the barn. Our kids said please, can we live here .
Matthew
Really nice stay thanks. Nice quality accommodation. Barley Mow pub was a good pub visit. Lincoln was an hours drive but a fab city to visit.
Lovely barn conversion, light and airy but at the same time cosy and comfortable. Couple of minor hiccups which were dealt with quickly and cheerfully thanks Leanne. Lovely area, peaceful and relaxing ,just what we wanted. Hot tub was brilliant for a nice soak with a glass of wine after days exploring Linconshire. Would definitely visit again. Val & Christine, Southampton
Lovely barn conversion in a peaceful and private countryside setting. Very comfy beds! Home from home. Great hosts!
Beverley
Acacia Barn is set in a lovely quiet location. It is a real home from home. Everything has been very well thought out and the property is stylishly and comfortably furnished. The hot tub is amazing and had lots of use while we were there. Stayed for a long weekend but would have loved to have stayed longer if we could. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Fabulous property in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break and the hot tub was a great added extra for an icy January break. Property was well equipped, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. We did get slightly confused with the directions to the property which mentioned a T&B containers for which there is two depots! The owners very kindly came to fetch us and show us to the property though! Would highly recommend this property for a break with family or friends!
Overall Acacia Barn was fantastic a lovely property in a peaceful location. We did find a few things missing that could be improved for the future, however. No washing up liquid and insufficient dishwasher tablets provided for the stay, no shower gel provided and insufficient toilet paper. It would also have been nice to see additional towels for the hot tub. During our stay the outside area was very icy and slippery due to the cold weather so some gritsalt would have been useful to make things safer. Everything else was excellent, including the hot tub, so thanks for a great stay at Acacia Barn!
Loved it! Lovely place and we felt so relaxed being there! Definitely thinking about a return visit. Bit tricky to find in the dark but worth the effort!
Trudie
A superb Barn Conversion with gorgeous views over the surrounding fields. Clean, modern and comfortable. Lovely big TV and large sofa. Very comfy beds. Fully equipped modern kitchen. Plenty of off road parking. Friendly host. Plenty of walks and things to do in the area. Would highly recommend.
Jagdeep
What a stunning location and beautiful property. Extremely clean and tidy on arrival and we were provided with some cleaning materials and toiletries which was a nice touch. Also, lots of helpful information provided on whats nearby including shops, restaurants and places to visit. We met the owner a few times during our stay and she was lovely and gave some great advice on things to do and see. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be recommending this property to family and friends.
The property is beautiful and very well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay and we had the best week, the children enjoyed the huge garden to play in as well as the hot tub for wind down. Would highly recommend this gorgeous house.
We loved our stay, the barn was beautiful, modern and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay just perfect

Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 10 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 22 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
