Kaleidoscope House Reviews

Jamie
We had an amazing time at this place! The house was spotless and well-kept, with great amenities. The location was ideal-close to two charming pubs and some lovely local shops, plus the beach was just a quick drive away. Celebrating my partner’s 30th here with friends made it a weekend to remember!
Sarah
What a fantastic showstopper of a house, so well equipped and beautifully furnished! Honestly, it has everything you could possibly need for a party vibe. The village location is just perfect, with handy shops and a lovely bakery. We will definitely consider staying again. The outside space is just as amazing as the inside. One thing though, it would be great if they could keep up with the shower and bathroom maintenance a bit better and on a more regular basis.
Fiona
The house was absolutely gorgeous! It was the perfect spot for a big group of women meeting up to talk about work, politicsand have a good time. The village is just lovely with fantastic walks and pubs. The house had such a unique vibe. The addition of a space to dance was the cherry on top! Well-equipped, artisticand exquisite. Thanks to everyone involved!
Emily
The house was fantastic! It suited our family celebration perfectly! The location and pubs in the village were just right, so we had an amazing time! We would definitely recommend this house for a large group.
Ellie
This house was absolutely perfect for our get-together with friends and family! It’s stunning and has such unique decor, although a bit tired in places. The beds are really comfy. The kitchen's got everything you could need, just wish there was more than one kettle. The BBQ is a decent medium-sized one, but trying to cook for 20 people with it was a bit tricky! The hot tub was fantasticand the basement room was ideal for partying the night away. We’d highly recommend it and we're definitely planning to come back!
Ryan
We found the home generally lovely. There isn’t much to do in the local area though. With a large family and elderly relatives joining us over Christmas, we felt a bit restricted. The TVs are a bit outdatedand there are no streaming services available. The lounge TV is rather smalland there aren’t enough seats for everyone to watch together. On the bright side, it was fantastic to cook a massive Christmas dinner in the two kitchensand the table was big enough for all 14 of us to sit down and eat together. The bedrooms are a good sizeand we found the beds really comfy to sleep in.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 16 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 19 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 21 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 28 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 28 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 28 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
