Denise
An amazing property to suit various age groups. It is very well equipped and spacious. The sauna and indoor pool are clean and maintained. Paul, the owner, lives nearby he is very discreet but approachable should you require any knowledge.
Debbie
Walnut House exceeded our expectations. Paul greeted us on arrival and was very friendly, we followed his recommendation for Sunday lunch at the Dukes Head and was not disappointed. The whole house is lovely with very comfy beds, we loved the pool, games room and outside space and used them all as much as we could. Everything we needed was there for us. My only gripe is that it is already fully booked for next year
Walnut House is just an amazing place to stay. Had absolutely everything we needed. We were made to feel so welcome and Paul was so helpful to us and friendly. We all had the best time and would highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you. Debbie

Great property, pool table, darts, bar you need to stock yourself lol swimming pool, not deep so great for kids and the hot tub to top it off. Comfy beds, great views from the 1st floor deck, and a good base to travel out from. Paul is superb maintaining the pool & hot tub every couple of days but doesnt disturb you in any way.

Just back from a weekend at Walnut House. The photos online do not do this place justice. The bar area is massive! The rest of the house is bigger in the flesh also. The whole place from top to bottom is spotless. The beds and settees were very comfortable. Everything was catered for, right down to swimming aids for children. We had a lovely time away and have already said we would love to book another visit soon. The owner Paul was contactable at any time. Very helpful and friendly.
Walnut House is one big entertainment area which we all thoroughly enjoyed and made the most of, especially the Grandchildren! My only problem is that we only stayed for a long weekend and not longer... Janice Mayes
We had an amazing time staying at Walnut House. We were met at the property by Paul who was very welcoming and even sorted out a bbq for us to use. The house was great, we loved the pool and the hot tub both were spotlessly clean and the perfect temperature! As we had such a good time we will definitely be coming back, we would definitely recommend!

Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 0 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 5 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 18 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 29 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 29 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
