Fair View House Reviews

Emma
Great location, very comfy, felt just like being at home!
Jamie
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The garden was dog-proof, apart from a tiny gap under the neighbour’s gateand it’s great that the shared field was accessible. Inside, the beds were super comfy, though some radiators weren’t working, which was a bit of a pain. The games room and garden playhouse were a hitand we appreciated the little touches like coffee sachets, biscuitsand fairy liquid. The only downsides were the slippery paving when wet and the uncomfortable sofas, but we’d definitely come back!
James
The house was really cosy and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were lovelyand the kids had a blast in the garden and games room. Would stay again!
Emma
We loved how roomy and cosy the place was, with everything we needed. The welcome pack was a nice touch, even if we brought our own snacks. It’s a lovely stroll down to the villageand the hike back up is a good workout. Our dog had a blast running around in the field! Excellent stay overall.

We had an amazing family stay here! The outdoor space was perfect for the kids, who loved feeding the chickens and grabbing fresh eggs. The house was super comfy, with a big lounge and a games room for rainy days. The hot tub was definitely the highlight! Plus, it's so easy to get to the village and the owners were really helpful. Highly recommend!
Sam
Fairview House really exceeded our expectations! We stayed for a long weekend and used it as the perfect spot to celebrate a surprise 30th birthday with friends. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even leaving bread and wine on arrival - such a lovely touch. We thought they might live next door, since we spent both evenings in the hot tub, but there was no bother at all. The hosts were very understanding, which made all the difference. Truly a fantastic weekend, thank you!
Oliver
The cottage was lovely, really well-equipped and in a stunning spot. The hot tub was a real treat, thanks so much!
Tommy
We had an awesome stay at this place! The house comfortably fit our group of 14and everyone felt at home. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with teapots, cafetieres, baking traysand pans, making self-catering a breeze. The dining area easily accommodated all of usand the lounge was really spacious too. The hot tub was a lovely touch after a long day. Plus, it’s only about ten minutes on foot into Tideswell, with plenty of scenic circular walks around. Highly recommend for groups!

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The house was really spacious and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed. The owners were super friendly and helpful from start to finish. The large utility room was a lifesaver for coats and shoes for our group of 14, especially with kids and grandparents. Everyone loved the hot tub and games room - truly a memorable holiday for all ages!
