The Tunnel at Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery Reviews

Wonderful property and completely spotless had everything you could need for a cosy couple of days. Was a really pleasant stay despite the weather. We even invited to feed the alpacas which was lovely. Hot tub was perfect and instructions for use clear.
Had a beautiful weekend everything at the tunnel was perfect we will definitely ... Had a beautiful weekend everything at the tunnel was perfect we will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Thanks David and Eleanor
This is a fabulous property in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Fitted out and decorated to a really high standard, it was the perfect romantic getaway and we had rebooked within hours of leaving. The only minor drawback was we didnt have mobile phone receptionalthough of course there is great WiFi but some might think that is a positive advantage!!!!!
We had a fantastic week at the Tunnel. It was stunning and the site was very quiet and relaxing . There is lots to do and see in the surrounding area. I would recommend it to anyone looking to escape and relax for a short period of time.
Bridge Farm offers everything you could wish for peaceful tranquil and an amazing setting. From start to finish the team were accessible for any questions or queries, the accommodation was spotless and spacious with everything you need to make your stay memorable!

My partner and I stayed in the tunnel in September and had an amazing stay. Brendan was very helpful and kept us informed regarding our check in times and purchasing additional logs for the hot tubs. The property was clean and very well maintained. The surrounding areas are lovely for walks and the views from the property are beautiful. We will be returning at some point!
Can't even begin to put into words how relaxing this 2 week stay at The Tunnel was. Everything was even more perfect that it looked on the photos. From the moment we stepped onto the site, we knew this was exactly what we'd been looking for....absolutely beautiful. The whole site is a real credit to Brendan and his team. Spotlessly clean, superbly maintained without any intrusion on your privacy. The Tunnel is amazing, no skimping on luxuries either. The woodfired hot tub is a dream & stayed hot all day without the need to keep making the fire up which was our initial concern when we booked We were so impressed, we used it everyday! We'll definitely be visiting this place again.
Would highly recommend bridge farm ,the quietst place we have ever stayed. All you here is nature Great staff, plenty of species of fish, great pub up the road. Thanks for a great stay, will be back soon
Christine
Thank you for a really comfortable stay.
We had a wonderful week at The Tunnel. As soon as we arrived Brendan was on hand to show us around. The Tunnel is amazing and so is the setting. Every morning wed wake up, and lift the blinds to a beautiful view of the lake and all of its wildlife. It is so peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Brendan and his whole team made us feel so welcome. It was definitely one of the best UK holidays weve ever had. Paul and Loraine.

Lovely property in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Loved the hot tub and my husband loved the fishing. Very close to local pub and Banbury for takeaways, restaurants or the train station. I feel the amount it cost that tea and coffee should be supplied for at least one cup each day. I dont feel you should have to go out and buy this at this price range. We also had 1 sachet of sugar when we were staying 3 nights! With the hot tub it would be useful to have an airer for drying your wet swimwear and towels. The towel warmer didnt work. It would also be useful to have a hair dryer which is usually standard in holiday accommodation
Fantastic place to stay, really creative conversion of The Tunnel and very well equipped and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, lake and surroundings were well maintained, hot tub, fire pit and garden space were great, location was peaceful and the fish kept biting! Highly recommended.
Beautiful property with excellent hosts. Highly recommend
Was a lovely break and can't fault it. Enough to do with an easy 10 minute drive to places for meals out or a bit of personal shopping and a few minutes walking distance pub. Hot tub for evening chill. WiFi with smart TVs which of course is needed now days. And the property is Lovely inside and out. Great place to escape for a few days to truly relax. Will be a place we will go too again if we can.

We've just got back from a 4 night stay in The Tunnel and it was absolutely lovely. The whole of Bridge Lake Farm accommodation, site and all surrounding areas were very well maintained, clean and just gorgeous. The Tunnel itself is high spec and has everything you need. The hot tub was great and was set up for us to use straight away. Excellent communication from the owner Brendan, even called to tell us we could get in early! A special mention to James as well for being so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Barbara
We really enjoyed our stay at Bridge Lake Farm. The accommodation was excellent. The furnishings were of a high standard, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, with stunning views over the lake. The individual pontoons were an added bonus! Our hosts were welcoming and we will certainly be coming back.

An amazing property, the pictures really do not do it justice. We were incredibly impressed with the accommodation and the professionalism of those working at Tunnel Bridge Farm. Would love to visit again. Can't rate it highly enough.
Judith
What amazing use of an unusual space all the comforts of home and spotlessly clean. The view over the lake was very pretty especially in the evenings with the reflection of the lights fron the lodges opposite reflecting on the water. Having the hot tub and garden furniture under a canopy was an added bonus for us as the weather wasnt great. Thank you Brendan and will hopefully be back soon.
Stayed for seven nights and what an amazing place, very modern with a huge outside space with a log fired Hot Tub and covered seating. Meet on arrival by the very friendly and helpful host. The lake and lodges are kept to an excellent standard and found our stay very relaxing and peaceful.
Philippa
Wow! What a wonderful place. We had an amazing weekend, the tunnel is exactly as described, has been decorated to a fantastic standard and the attention to detail was wonderful. Brendan was so helpful and welcoming and took great care showing us around and how everything worked. He even got the hot tub going so it was ready for our arrival. We enjoyed a lovely long walk in the countryside, long afternoons at the local pub who again were very friendly and the hot tub was a real treat to relax in every evening. We cant wait to come back soon for another complete relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
Weve recently got back from a weekend break away at The Tunnel. From start to finish we were amazed with the location, facilities and overall experience. Whilst on our fantastic break away we got engaged and we are eternally grateful to Brendan and Catherine for all their help along the way. We have already recommended our close friends at work who are looking to book later this year. We cannot wait to go back.
What an amazing place and perfect place to spend my 60th birthday. Absolutely stunning. Brendan was an absolute star and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be visiting again.
Sophie
We had a lovely time during our long weekend break at the Tunnel! A retreat from the world, we found everything very comfortable and easy to live in. We especially enjoyed the hot tub which turned out to be very easy to use!
Brendan was a brilliant host for our short stay, we had a home from home feel with everything we could need. The tunnel has been turned into a modern, comfortable getaway that I recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing experience. Would definitely come back again!
Monika
It was such an amazing stay and Brendan made it very easy to communicate with him! Amazing property, will definitely stay again.
We had the perfect short break at The Tunnel. Its high end finish is gorgeous with a fabulously comfy big bed. The large private garden and hot tub were the icing on the cake. We recharged, chilled and went for a short walk the hot tub called us back! Perfect
Beautiful place in a perfect setting. The Tunnel is so unique and we had a wonderful Christmas there. All needs are catered for. Brendan the owner is attentive without being intrusive. Have already raved about it to friends and family.

Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 7 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Old Dairy Farm Centre - PO30 2NB
about 12 Miles
Suited to families with children of all ages this is a fantastic attraction in Northamptonshire.  There are many special events held throughout the year so don't forget to check what's happening while you are staying in the region.  Some highlights include the lambing weekends and the monthly local food fayres.
Old Dairy Farm Country Shopping and Craft Centre - LE14 3PF
about 12 Miles
From shopping to home cooked refreshments this is a wonderful day out in the pretty village of Upper Stowe.  You can enjoy amazing views over the Northamptonshire countryside and wander around the complex of stone built farm buildings.  Each building houses something different such as the Occasions Florist, Itsy Bitsy Gifts, Hayrack Gallery and Sheer Delights Lingerie.  When it's time for a rest the Barn Restaurant and Tea Room is the place to go.  There is a small selection of animals at the centre too which younger children will love.  They currently have two Kune Kune pigs, sheep, hens and ducks.  If you are looking for upmarket holiday accommodation in the Northamptonshire area then the luxury lodges at Wicksteed Park are sure to impress.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 27 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
