We can easily recommend this property. The building itself is magnificent; it was built by the owner and you can see the care and attention that was taken during construction. It is located in a very peaceful and tranquil area just outside Blackpool and is ideal for a large family or like us, grandparents, kids, and grandkids.

This place is amazing! We go away with family at least once a year and this is the best place we have stayed by far! Not only does it look fabulous but it has everything you may need and more. So luxurious. We stayed as a group which ranged from the ages of 79 to 3 and everyone loved it. The owners take great pride and you can tell. Everything was high spec and absolutely spotless! Not even a cobweb. If you get a chance to stay then do it! We will be returning.

Beautiful holiday house in a very peaceful setting. It was lovely standing on the veranda at night listening to owls and foxes. We booked this for our first family get together since before lockdown and had the best time. Loads of space for us all, we loved the movie room and pool table as well as the hot tub. Only 20-30 minutes into Blackpool for a show at the Winter Garden theatre and for an illuminations tram tour. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hare House. We didnt realise it was semi-detached until we arrived but that wasnt a problem at all. We still had our own separate outdoor area with hot tub which was great. The equipment such as the table tennis, Boules and games room were fantastic and we loved the decor and style of the property. Perfectly situated from some great days out including Blackpool beach, Lytham and St Annes. We had a great day out at The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre too.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Hare House. A lovely location and a very well presented property with lots to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, secluded outdoor sitting area, pool table and cinema room. We didn't get round to trying out the table tennis or the games that are available as we had so much to choose from but we did appreciate the warm welc ome for dogs, the excellent garden area (fenced off so doggy friendly) with it's own Boules court - which was fun. Stayed as a family of 5 at this beautiful cottage - wow. We have stayed in a lot of cottages but this tops them all! It was immaculate and very comfortable. Our nights weren't long enough to split between watching a film in the games room and sitting in front of the fire! The kitchen is well equipped and we ate out nearby too (The Puddled Duck). Th e area is quiet but lovely to walk around. The communication with the owners was excellent. A place we will visit again soon - thank you again!

This is a wonderful property completed to an extremely high standard. There are so many stand out features. The hot tub is amazing, being undercover the rain wasn't an issue and it was so warm and relaxing. The open plan kitchen is fantastic and so well equipped you will want for nothing. Fantastic property this was my second time to Hare House and it was just as good as I remember. We had a great stay just what we needed to relax for a week with our 2 dogs. The Dogs absolutely loved Hare House as there is so much space for them to run around inside and out. My oldest dog Charlie was at the window all day watching birds and squirrel 's. This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction. With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun. You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.
