Orchard Lodge Reviews

Really lovely property, the house and rooms are much more spacious that we were expecting, which is great with the number of people. location was excellent.
Absolutely fantastic accommodation, a great place and a lovely house. Would highly recommend anyone to book up. First class. We couldn't fault it.
Joanna
Lovely stay. Beautiful roomy house, well equipped and in a fantastic location. The few small teething issues we had were sorted quickly and efficiently by the owners. Would recommend and would return.
Trevor
Beautiful house, all amenities with large well equipped kitchen and welcome pack including milk, tea and coffee. Lovely and clean. Absolutely perfect for 6 adults, four children under 12 and a little dog. Car parking on the street, though you may have to search for a nearby space. No problem though.
We were a family of 8 celebrating a special birthday for the weekend at this beautiful house. Beautifully furnished bed and bedding and towels lovely. Everything we needed at this property would definitely go back.
This property is lovely and is perfect for a group of family or friends to spend a few days in a spacious, relaxing environment. We had a party of 9 celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary and this well appointed spotlessly clean 5 bedroom house allows you all the space and comfort you could ever require, especially the wonderful enormous kitchen. A really nice touch was the unexpected welcome pack which was much appreciated. The property location is ideal just a short stroll to the seafront and many shops, restaurants and several barspubs. We would love to visit again sometime in the future.
The inside of the property has obviously been restored. One or two areas still need attention for example some windows upstairs would not open and the outside seating area needs attention The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious ideal for a family We had a very lively toddler and a stair gate would have been ideal. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to return.
Lovely house very central to all St Annes. Everything was very clean and has everything you need. Only a couple of points I would raise.....The showerwater was a problem. 1 shower did not work, one only had very cold water and the other only had very hot water. We managed but this could do to be looked at. Also we did have to go out and buy dishwasher tablets. Just having a couple left for use would of been handy. Other than that a lovely place. I would recommend.
Lynsey
We really enjoyed our stay. The house has been very well renovated and is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. It is in a great location, quiet but just a short walk into the centre of St Annes and the beach. Helen and Alex were great hosts and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.
Large modern house with plenty of room and facilities. Short walk into town and the beach, with plenty of pubs and restaurants. The hosting was excellent and would recommend this holiday let.
The house was brilliant big and spacious three big lovely bathrooms and a toilet ... The house was brilliant big and spacious three big lovely bathrooms and a toilet downstairs the kitchen was big and well equipped everything was perfect

Bowland Wild Boar Park - PR3 2QT
about 22 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Happy Mount Park - LA4 5AQ
about 23 Miles
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Gulliver's World Theme Park - WA5 9YZ
about 29 Miles
This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.
South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU
about 29 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
