We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. Everything is finished to a high standard and plenty of space for a big group. We stayed as a family and there were 21 of us. The owner Jaime was on hand whenever we needed help and made sure we had the best stay possible. Would highly recommend this house. Just need a few long mirrors and a tv in the smallest room. The house is stunning both inside and outside. There is plenty of room for at least 6 cars small to medium size and even though its down a side street once youve driven in you could be anywhere. The house backs on to the railway but you barely hear the trains, obviously a big hint in the name

Had a fab stay this weekend, there was a group of 15 of us that stayed and it couldnt have suited us better. Loads of room for us all and plenty of space for games, chilling out etc. The house was so clean and modern, we literally did not want to leave. Already going to book up for next year!

The photos do not do it justice.. The place is huge! Right in the heart of everything and parking for lots of cars. Every room beautiful and finished to a high standard, with quality carpets, fixtures and fittings throughout. Host has put a lot of effort in and gone above and beyond to make sure you have a brilliant stay with an array of amenities, games, tvs everywhere!, table football, hot tub, even 22 chairs fit round one dining room table!! Great value, great fun, great memories! Thanks Jamie for making us so welcome, checking all ok at the start and again upon departure not to mention the welcome gifts .. the huge picnic basket hamper!! We had a very good stay, the one problem we had early on with the heating hot water was fixed very quickly by the owner who was very friendly. The welcome hamper was a nice addition. A property within easy reach of many Scarborough amenities.

Absolutely amazing! ! the house is breathtaking, the owner has gone above and beyond in providing all that is needed and to the highest of spec. The house is situated in the heart of Scarborough and within walking distance to everything. We stayed at the house this weekend 30th June to 2nd July for my daughter 40th birthday we had the best time at this beautiful house. There was even a luxury essentials hamper waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. I am not a big review writer but when a place deserves it, this definitely does. A fantastic well equipped property! So well finished and great for larger groups! The owner was fantastic aswell checking in with us to make sure everything was ok and when I had a query about the hot tub he contacted me immediately to help! Only one point of note I would say is the small toilet down next to the back door could do with a blind in the window or frosted glass.

Perfect! Everything we needed and more. Every room is immaculate and everything has been thought of. Having two large lounges with enough seating was brilliant, when people werent happily sitting and chatting in the kitchen. Every bedroom was lovely and super comfy and all the bathrooms were amazing. The hot tub and the table football were enjoyed by everyone. The house just had so much room and perfect for mixed ages. I could put the littlest ones to bed without any worry about them being woken up and everyone else could still enjoy the evening. Jamie was brilliant, all information you need for the house is there and if needed you can message him and get a really quick response. Having parking for everyone is also a big plus! Would highly recommend.

Any Facilities to do recycling in the future, as we produced an awful lot of Rubbish.

Amazing property with lots of wow factor it was bigger than we expected from the photos. The hot tub was fab and the bathrooms are lovely. Our only negative comments would be the lack of large pans and large serving dishes as it was quite difficult to cook for 22 people at times. The dining table only seated 18 too. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Railway House, really spacious for all the 21 Guests with all amenities to hand. Great location close to the city but within walking distance to the beach and more. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Our stay at the Railway house was absolutely brilliant! Once we parked up our cars they never moved again due to everywhere being within easy walking distance! Especially the pub literally 20 steps up the road! Their was more than enough room throughout the property for the 23 of us! Ages ranged from 5months to 50s The attention to detail in the finishing touches really make the house stand out from the rest! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were looking at booking again!

This attraction is ideal for sunny days as the beautiful park is ideal for wandering out and taking in the scenery. You can hire boats including rowing boats and canoes to enjoy the views from the water. The pedalos with the dragon heads are always a popular choice too. Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see". You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.

Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP

If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost £46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.

Sea Life Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP

about 1 Mile

Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.

Betton Farm Visitor Centre - TF9 3PS

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially. A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money. Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs. Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.

The Grainary Wildlife Farm - YO25 3HS

about 6 Miles

Located in Harwood Dale Village, North Yorkshire we think this attraction makes a superb family day out and couples will also enjoy the nature walks in the area. There are 6 nature walks in total surrounding the farm so walkers and lovers of the outdoors will be in their element. Some of our favourite walks include the Spring Flowers, Pond and Village walk which takes around 35 minutes, and the Meadow and Trees walk which takes one hour.

Flamingo Land - YO60 7EW

about 16 Miles

Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out. It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys. Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo. Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.

Castle Howard - YO60 7DA

Castle Howard is one of the regions most beautiful and historic landmarks and is located in 1,000 acres of parkland with breathtaking gardens to explore. As well as exploring the castle visitors can enjoy attractios including the unique Land Train - the best way to see the entire park. There is also a large lake offering boat trips during the summer months. In high season the site is very popular with families and offers organised activities for children including tours, talks, crafting and animal encounters. The site also has a Nature Trail which is fun for the whole family and an Adventure Playground where children can run off some energy.

Yorkshire Lavender is an amazing award winning attraction offering breathtaking panoramic views of York, a Café, Plant Nursery and Lavender Gardens. The 60 acre site is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is an excellent choice for a day trip.
