We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away in a peaceful spot. It’s super clean and well-furnished, with a maid coming halfway through our two-week trip, which was a nice touch. Perfect for exploring both the coast and moorland easily. We also found some cracking places to eat-best fish and chips at Magpie’s Cafe in Whitbyand for a bit more fancy, Estbek House and The Homestead were great picks. Definitely a good spot to relax and unwind!

A lovely property, just a short walk from the cinder track giving access to great food and drink at the Hayburn Wyke Inn. The property is set back from the road and there is no traffic noise at all, very peaceful indeed. The owners were easily contacted by telephone for any queries and could not have been more helpfull. This place has a fantastic location that's just perfect for escaping from it all! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need, plus a few nice extras. We really enjoyed the hot tub and then just chilling in front of the fire. There are lovely pubs close by for mealsand we can definitely recommend the 3 Jolly Sailors for a meal that's cooked to excellent standards, reminding you of what your gran would have made. And honestly, the portions are massive! If you want time to relax and unwind, this is a brilliant spot to stay.

Wykewood is absolutely gorgeous - everything has been carefully thought of and it’s to such a high standard. It’s in a quiet location... we feel like we’ve been on holiday a month and not just a week! We had visits from Roe Deer, Rabbits and could hear the Tawny Owls. We used the hot tub every day and the hamper on arrival was a lovely touch - thank you! Perfectly located between Scarborough and Whitby, we had loads of adventures away from the cottage. We’ll definitely be back. Already missing the views.
Emma
For anyone who enjoys a bit of peace and quiet along with the comforts of home, this is just right. We especially appreciated the attention to the environment that the build has integrated. This ethos continues with the eco-friendly cleaning products. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. We usually rate our holidays out of 10 and this one scored a perfect 10!
Clara
This was our second stay, truly like a home from home. A beautifully appointed cottage in such peace and tranquility, so relaxing yet close to all the popular east coast area. We enjoyed lots of local beautiful walks and were so lucky to see a lot of wildlife, so many roe deer this time around and the majestic barn owls, not to mention the many, many cute rabbits. The welcome hamper and extra treats were really appreciated. We think this is the most perfect cottage we have ever visited, highly recommend, enjoy!
Dianne
