1 Kingswood Cottage Reviews

Sophie
This cottage is perfect for a couple and a dog, ideal location, not far from Stratford, a few great pubs near by the Boot was by far out favourite, make sure you book! Our dog, River, loved walking by the canal and was exhausted every night We will definitely be back when the weather is nicer!
The property was amazing, really good location and the attention to detail was great. We had an incredible stay and the cottage is exactly as per the photos. One thing to note was that there was no tea or coffee, and there were no coffee pods for the coffee machine. Not sure if the guests before us had used the last of them, or if they were just forgotten to be topped up. Everything else was immaculate.

A beautiful character cottage which has been modernised to a high standard with welcoming, dogfriendly country pubs and canal walks from the doorstep. We enjoyed fantastic food & atmosphere at the local, The Boot Inn. A memorable bike ride with our bulldog in tow to Tom o the Woods & The Navigation Inn, who kindly borrowed us matches to light the log fire on our first night. We wish we could have stayed longer, with so much more to explore at nearby Stratford upon avon, Leamington Spa & NT properties. The cottage was well equipped & extremely comfortable. Hot tub & log burning fire made for a very relaxing stay on a drizzly Saturday. The spa robes, fizz, flowers and welcome card were a lovely personal touch. Thank you! We highly recommended Kingswood Cottage and will sure to be back.
Stunning cosy cottage. Had everything we needed and we were very comfortable for the week. The hot tub was such a lovely treat.
Fantastic place Great location Decor made for a very comfy stay Log fire and hot tub made the stay even better
A lovely warm and clean holiday cottage, sadly lacking a microwave oven. The hot tub appeared to need frequent maintenance visits from the owners during our stay, one such visit occurring before 9.00am accompanied by loud knocking on the door. This was on one of our holiday days not a changeover day. A little local information would have been appreciated.
Probably the nicest cottage we've ever stayed in. Lovely welcome from Sally and Mike, couldn't have wished for better
Beautiful cottage in such a lovely location. The cottage was spotless and stunning and everything you needed was provided. Hot tub was a great addition after long walks.
1 Kingswood Cottage was a lovely place to call home for a short stay. We have family nearby so it was a great place to link up and connect with them. The walks along the canal were nice and the local pubs were warm and inviting. Sally & Mike made us feel very welcome, whilst we never met them in person, we connected and understood that they cared about us having a lovely experience. It is the little things that matter. A nice greeting card & Prosceco on Ice welcoming us, the M&S cutlery, the hot tub and the quality of an obvious recent renovation that has been carefully and accurately executed. We sadly did not stay the full term as I was not very well, but may well stay there again in the future. So thank you!
Newly renovated. Everything thing that you would expect in a holiday cottage. The garden was secure for our dog. Ample off road car parking. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Fresh flowers and a bottle of Prosecco were waiting for us. Lots of nice walks along the canals. Three pubs within walking distance. One of the pubs called the Boot has a very good restaurant. The railway station is 15 minutes steady walk away and is very convenient for lots of places Stratford on Avon, Lemington Spa and Warwick to name just a few ! The Village shop came in useful, less than 5 minutes walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Im sure we will be back!

Had to leave early as my dog got fleas and me and my granddaughter was bites. My dog had been groomed before we went and I've asked the groomer and he defently didn't have them before we was there, and we didn't take him in long grass.
Absolutely fantastic cottage which the owners should be proud of. We can't think of anything more the owners could of done to make our holiday any better. Beautiful location and 3 cracking country pubs within walking distance. The hot tub was an added bonus to enjoy. Warwickshire is a great part of the country to visit and we'll definitely be back.
Just had a wonderful week at 1 Kingswood Cottage. The cottage has been refurbished to the highest level of quality. Everything has been well thought out and every detail taken care of. So close to the canals and pubs all with lovely walks. We ate at the Tom O The Wood pub which was lovely. To top it all off the hot tub was perfect for relaxing in at the end of your day. Well done Sally and Mike, its a credit to you both. Neil, Susan Maggie and Brian

Everything from the start to finish of our break was perfect. The house was spotless and everything was thought out by the owners to ensure our stay was comftable and relaxing. The hot tub was well situated with an amazing gazibo, so we could use it even in the rain. The garden was enclosed without anyways for our dogs to get out, which made our break alot more relaxing. The house had some amazing features and was so well decorated. We are looking forward to another visit. We will be back and we can't wait.

This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
