Larach Beag Reviews

Sam
We had a fantastic time at both properties. The Navidale cottage offered stunning views of the North Seaand it was spotlessly clean and very cosy. Larach Beag felt like a home away from home, especially since we’ve visited so many times before with my late wife. It’s honestly one of the best places we’ve stayed in the area, can’t recommend it enough!
James
This place is gorgeous, perfect for familiesand we honestly had a brilliant time!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is charming and in an incredible spot with stunning views. The secure garden was a blessing for our dogs and kids. Having a cosy inn next door with fantastic food was a big bonus. Just a heads up, there aren’t any walks nearby, so you’ll need to drive to explore. Definitely recommend!
Emma
We stayed here after a week in the Lake District with family. The location is so peaceful with stunning views. The cottage was lovelyand we didn’t want to leave. Perfect for relaxing or exploring!
Alex

Larach Beag truly feels like a good place. The setting is perfect-rural enough for peace, yet not too far from everything. The house’s layout makes it easy to relax or spend quality time together. The garden is lovely and safe for our old dog. We even tried the outdoor bath in February-brrr! My little girl loved star gazing during her soak, which was such a special moment. We definitely plan to return. Thanks for another fantastic week!
Sam
Really enjoyed our stay here, the place was super clean and comfy. Shame the Tummel Inn nearby was shut during the holidays though!
Emma
We really enjoyed staying here. The house is super comfy and well kitted outand the private garden makes it feel so peaceful. The hot bath was definitely worth the trouble of lighting, especially under the dark night sky — it’s quite the sight to see the stars above. Honestly, it felt pretty magical and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We’d definitely come back!
Alex
This place is really something special. The scenery around here is just breathtaking, honestly. We loved the outdoor kitchen and the bath — such a nice touch! There's loads of lovely forest walks nearbyand Pitlochry itself is a charming, lively little town. The inn next door serves decent food, though it’s more of a wine bar vibe, but definitely worth checking out. We’d happily stay here again, for sure!
Emma
This place is really lovely and well set up, nestled in such a stunning spot. We found the owners super easy to chat with and very helpful. The dog towels were a lovely touch - made things so much easier for us. All in all, a fantastic stay, we’d definitely come back!

We stayed at this cottage recently and honestly, it was quite a lovely spot. The views are absolutely breathtaking and really made our mornings special. The place itself is super comfortable and has everything you’d need for a relaxing break. Plus, our dog was safe and happy in the secure garden, which was a huge bonus. It’s well equipped too, so we didn’t have to worry about missing anything. All in all, a great find and we’d definitely come back again!

We had such a great stay! The cottage is a bit tucked away, which was actually pretty charmingand the view of Loch Tummel totally made our trip. The pub right next door was a bonus too. We spent lots of time in the garden and found the indoor areas to be cosy and inviting. It’s well equipped for a family of four and our dog, which was perfect. Honestly, we’d definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage, the location is spot on. The views are absolutely stunning and it’s got plenty of space both inside and out. The garden is huge and perfect for relaxing or kids to play. Honestly, we’d definitely recommend this place if you’re after a peaceful getaway with a lovely setting. We’ll be coming back for sure!
David
We had a really lovely stay here. It’s perfect if you’re after somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The peace is only broken by the odd fighter jet flying overhead, which added a bit of excitement! We were a group of five - two adults and three kids aged 15, 11and 8. The location totally blew us away, especially the view of Loch Tummel. Every day, the scenery seemed to change and surprise us. Being about 15 minutes outside Pitlochry makes it a great spot for exploring the area, whether you want to head north to Aviemore or down south to Edinburgh. We’d definitely come back!
Ellie

Emma
We really appreciated the peaceful setting here. The view of the Loch from the garden is stunning and makes relaxing so easy. The place itself was well-maintained and comfortable, definitely a good standard of accommodation. It’s a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy nature. We’d happily come back again!
Martin
We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage with stunning views all around. The electric panel heaters kept the place cozy, which was great. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with everything we needed. Only little hiccup was the new gate in the garden; it has a pretty big gap underneath, so we couldn’t let our dog roam freely outside, which was a bit of a bummer since our cavalier loves to explore. Still, overall a fantastic place to unwind!
Emma
Wow, this place is truly stunning. The scenery is breathtaking and the cottage itself feels so warm and inviting. There’s loads to explore nearby, from charming forest walks with the colours in autumn being absolutely spectacular to some lovely cafes for a quick coffee. Pitlochry is such a cute little town, perfect for a relaxed getaway. I even shared a photo from the big picture window where I was planning to do a quick workout on my Joe Wicks 90-day challenge — it got over 1.2k likes! The view really is that amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back soon.
Emma
Honestly, we were really pleasantly surprised by this place. The views are absolutely breathtakingand the location is just perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was super cosy and warm, which made it feel like a proper home from home. We loved how peaceful it was and couldn’t get over the scenery. Definitely a spot we’d come back to, even if just for those stunning vistas. It’s one of those good places that’s worth discovering!!
Emily
Larach Beag is such a lovely cottage in an amazing spot. We used it as a base to explore Pitlochry and then unwind after long walks through the forests. The beds are really comfy, the showers are hotand the fire makes everything cosy. Our daughter and small dog absolutely loved the garden, especially the swing. The local pub is nice but honestly, the view from the sofa kept us glued to the spot! Definitely recommend it — my mum and stepdad have even booked to come now after I told her how fantastic it was. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!
