Larach Beag Reviews

Ronnie
Both properties were excellent. The cottage at Navidale had a magnificent view across the North Sea, was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Larach Beag was yet another of our visits there and where, with Kioma and Port an Eilean before, my late wife and I had enjoyed almost yearly stays for almost 20 years. I could not imagine a better pRead morelace to stay in the area. Hide

Beautiful location. We had a fantastic family holiday here. Would recommend it to anyone.
Carolyn
A lovely property in a most amazing location with a fabulous view. The lovely secure garden is a big plus if you have dogs or children. Great to have a lovely inn next door that does excellent food. There are no walks direct from the house and it is quite remote so be prepared to have to drive some distance to get anywhere.
Lynn
Stayed here following a week in the Lake District with Family. What an amazing, peaceful location, brilliant views, great cottage, didn't want to leave. Brilliantly placed for exploring or just chilling.
Daniel
Amazing location with stunning views, lovely place to stay with all equipment you need. Will definitely be returning.
Joanna
Larach Beag is one of our favourite cottages. The location is rural but not remote, the house is beautifully laid out with space for peace or coming together and the view is priceless! The garden is great, our old dog was very safe. We did the outdoor bath twice (yes in feb!), our 5yr old daughter loved star gazing whilst having a soak.thats a lifeRead more memory. We will definitely be back. Thank you for another wonderful week. Hide
Ronnie
A perfect cottage for a restful week - spotless and comfortable. Just a pity the adjacent Tummel Inn was closed during the holiday season!
Helen
Enjoy the spectacular view and the wonderfully comfortable and well equipped house which is set in its own enclosed garden. The Scandinavian hot bath was worth the effort of lighting and with the dark night skies above, marvel at the cosmos. Truly magical.
Ian
The house is amazing, the views fantastic. The outdoor kitchen and bath are great. Forest walks nearby and Pitlochry is a lovely, busy town. The Inn next door does good food but is more like a wine bar, but well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Clair
A very well appointed house in a beautiful location. Excellent communication with the owners. We particularly appreciated the dog towels!
Stefania
Amazing location, and the view is even better in real life! Cosy cottage with really everything you need for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the large selection of board games during the rainy days. The grill outside was just what we expected. We got some local beef from a butcher in Aberfeldy and cooked it outside. The garden is very secure, even for a sighthound! Theres a nice local walk just next to the Inn, which takes you through the countryside up to Blair Atholl.
Mark
We loved our break at Larach Beag. The house was lovely, really comfortable, great garden and amazing views. Lots of opportunities for walks and sight seeing in the area too. Having the Inn next door meant you could have a night of cooking, and the food and service in the Inn was great. We would love to stay here again.
Colin

What a lovely property! While the cottage is slightly off the beaten track, the view of loch Tummel really made up for it, as well as the excellent pub next door. We loved using the garden and the indoor spaces were comfy and warm, as well as being well appointed for a family of four and dog. We wouldnt hesitate to return again.
Steven

Rob
The cottage was great. We loved the way it was decorated, all the equipment was wonderful, the garden was ideal for our dog. So we were one happy group!
Jonathan
A perfect place to spend the week. Incredible views, lots of space and an amazing home. Lots of great places to explore nearby or just chill out at home whilst the kids played in the garden. We would love to return.
John
This accommodation is fantastic. If you want somewhere away from the town that is peaceful (apart from the occasional fighter jet going over the loch!) then this is it. We were a party of 5 - two adults and three kids (15, 11 and 8). We were blown away by the location and especially the view of Loch Tummel - every day the vista offered something di fferent. Situated about 15mins outside Pitlochry it is an ideal base for exploring - from Aviemore in the north to Edinburgh in the south.
Sarai
Great cottage with everything we needed and fantastic views. Highly recommend it.
Jacqueline
Enjoyed the serenity of the location. The garden overlooking the Loch is beautiful. Good standard of accommodation.
Barry
Wonderful cottage and fabulous views. Electric panel heaters very effective. Kitchen very well equipped. We were unable to let our dog loose in the garden due to the new gate fitted having a large gap underneath that our cavalier king Charles spaniel could walk under.
Catherine
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Larach Beag. The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. The view of Loch Tummel from the cottage is stunning.
Gus
This is a fantastic house, full of character and distinctive design features; boot-room complete with pulley; the snug & deck; the lighting scheme; the "Kitchen Cabinet"! Outdoors is every bit as good; cooking area with fire-pit and Big Green Egg, a bath with a view and birdlife in abundance. You know why you're coming to this area so check out the hydro-schemes as well as the scenery; the chocolate as well as the whisky; the history as well as the theatre. We had a grand time and so will you.
Pamela
Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous. The view is incredible. Really cosy cottage. So much to see and do. Gorgeous forest walks and the colours were incredible. Fabulous cafe's. Pitlochry is a pretty little town with everything you need. I posted a photo of the view from the huge picture window where I was going to workout on my Joe Wicks 90 day Facebook p age it had 1.2k likes, the view is that good!
Lesley
Wow, what a find, stunning location with fantastic views, house was warm and comfortable.
Joanna
Larach Beag is a stunning cottage set in a spectacular location. It was the perfect home to tour Pitlochry and to relax after walking in the many forests. The beds are comfy, showers hot and fire roars; what more could you need. Our daughter and small dog adored the garden, especially the swing. The pub is nice but the view from the couch made us s till in and stare! Would highly recommend- my mum & step dad have now booked to come as I told her how fab it was. Thanks so much for a great holiday
Kate
Wow, what a find!! Our jaws dropped as we entered the living and saw that view!! We could not believe it was ours for the week!! Had there not been so much to see and do in the area we would have been more that happy to just gaze out of the window. It changes constantly with the light and weather .. just stunning!! The house is spotless, well equip ped, tastefully decorated and super cosy, esp with the log stove which really throws out the heat. A super week and some wonderful memories made xx
Peter
