We loved staying at this lovely cottage. It’s perfectly situated in a stunning spot, super cleanand Jim and Claire made us feel so welcome. Three generations had a fantastic time. We’d definitely return if we get the chance. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage with breathtaking views. Its location made day trips to Edinburgh and St Andrews a breeze. The Hermitage walk was a highlight - those waterfalls are truly stunning. The hot tub was a lovely touch, though it took us a bit to get the temperature just right, especially since it’s a log burning one. The owners were really helpful and sorted it out quickly. Would definitely recommend!

The hot tub was a real treat after a day outand the hosts were lovely and friendly. Having three generations stay, everyone had a great time. Definitely recommend and we’re already planning to return!

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 27 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
