Fantastic holiday with family, plenty to explore, lots of great eating places and towns with independent shops. If you travel up to Balmoral, the bakery next to the primary school does an exceptional hot chocolate (according to grandkids even better than the gift shop just North of the cottage, which had earned a ten out of ten).
