Highland Hot Tub Retreat 4 Reviews

Heather
Cottage was excellent. Met our expectations and more, the view from the cottage is absolutely stunning. Ideal for a family with two children up to early teenage years. Would say a little small in the twin room for older children but still fabulous. Overall, very clean, very restful/relaxing everything you need to make your stay comfortable. NeedlesRead mores to say we will certainly be returning. Hide
Andrew
Very clean upon arrival, stunning views, watched the dolphins every day, great base to explore
Lisa
Couldnt say anything bad about our stay it was perfect views to die for very peaceful location with lots to do on the doorstep
Angela
The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack was lovely and unexpected as we were booked in at very short notice. The view was fantastic, watching assorted boats, ships and dolphins go by. Great beaches nearby and owner very friendly. Would highly recommend.
Ethel
Lovely lodge, excellent location and all the little extras were very much appreciated. Cant wait to go back.
Virginie

Samantha

Jason
Great place to stay all round.

This was the best uk destination we have done. The open cliff was great for the children to explore in, the jacuzzi also kept them entertained. The views are breathtaking the small touches in our welcome kit were so thoughtful. The owners borrowed us books and were extremely welcoming. We certainly will be coming back. Thank you so much
Rachel
We've just had a week at Castlecraig Cliftops. Absolutely stunning location. The cabin itself was beautiful and comfortable. We had some amazing days out. Would highly recommend the ferry over to Cromarty, Dornoch beach and the walk around Tarbat lighthouse. I had some bread delivered from the homecook place nearby, delicious, as were the brownies, I'd recommend ordering some bits from here too. Was so sad to leave!
Paul
One of the most pleasant experiences of my life in the most stunning part of the countryside. Perched on the cliff top the cabins or pods which are exceptional BTW you can sit in the hottub and watch dolphins playing in the bay. If there is a place on earth that is like heaven then this is it. The owners are very friendly and helpful and can thank them from the bottom of my heart for having the vision to build such a wonderful place.
Katherine
Fantastic views, lovely standard of accommodation, very comfy beds and the most relaxing location you could ask for. We travelled as a group of 4 adults and as a whole it was lovely, but the pod was more suited to a family of 4, as the seating in the evening was 3 on the couch and 1 on a kitchen stool. (Travelled Mid-May so chilly evenings) The dol phins were wonderful to watch.
Cheryl
Fabulous cabin. Wonderful situation on the cliff tops. Nicely set out. Great welcome pack. Beautiful toiletries provided and good robes for the amazing hot tub. Definitely a stunning place to stay. Can't wait to return. Would definitely recommend.
Richard
Castlecraig Clifftops is a wonderful place! Words cannot do it justice. Apart from the location and stunning views, there is absolutely everything you could possibly need! The lodges are spotless, the beds are so comfortable! All mod cons - smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, cooker/microwave, fridge, dishwasher, heated towel rail, coffee machine, the lis t goes on! Sitting in the hot tub whilst looking out to sea is magical. I cannot rate this place high enough!
Ruth
The accommodation and location are absolutely stunning, it has everything. On a working farm, surrounded by beautiful countryside and the water, you could not ask for more. The owner popped in and could not have been nicer. The gift basket is also a lovely touch. A real 5 out of 5 experience.
James
Excellent location and superb accommodation highly recommend......
Steven
Location is stunning, looking across the Moray Firth to Nairn opposite, a pod of dolphins spotted when we went down to the cliff top bench and the glittering coastline lit up from places such as Inverness to the right to Lossiemouth to the left. The hot tub is not the only top feature here, location is wonderful, cottage, clean linen, towels and ba throbes. I can be critical about places we stay, not this one, it's Top of the Pops! 10 out of 10.
Jack
Amazing lodges in a great location, really enjoyed the week, all the lodges facilities were spot on. Fort North Sutor military site is a great little gem in the field next door too. 5 would recommend to anyone
Emma
This is an excellent choice if you are seeking relaxation and high quality accommodation on the NE coast. Everything in the cabin from the shower to the cutlery is well designed and of a very high standard. The hot tub is lovely and there were lots of thoughtful touches such as fluffy dressing gowns and a welcome pack of local food and drink. The h osts were warm and welcoming and gave us all the information we needed for a great weeks holiday. We even saw a pod of dolphins. Highly recommended!
Courtney
It was beautiful amazing location! Had a lovely time will definitely be back! Views are out of this world, and lodge is stunning

Beautiful unique lodge with stunning views and personal touches by the owners
Gillian
A very well equipped cabin in a spectacular rural location overlooking the sea. Les (the owner) was extremely helpful and we felt we could contact her any time if we had a problem. A truly relaxing and very peaceful holiday. The hot tub was an added bonus and was very relaxing too. Everything you needed for a very enjoyable holiday.
Anita
A lovely place to stay - quiet and a fabulous outlook into the bay. And dolphins for entertainment. Very friendly owners who were around if you needed advice/help. Highly recommend.
Valerie
Cabin facilities excellent. Marvellous uninterrupted sea views. Very comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely book to go again!
Susan
Fantastic lodge with stunning views over the Moray Firth. Could have lounged in the hot tub all day every day and just drank it all in! We actually almost did as we just lounged relaxed, listening to music and reading in between stints in the hot-tub on several days! Lovely friendly owners who have really thought about what to provide - well equipp ed, very clean, comfy bed and so much more! Would love to go again! Gloriously revitalising week had by the two of us.
Caroline
The cabin is perfect for a short break. It had everything we needed to self cater. Lovely surprise welcome pack with goodies from the local area. Breath taking scenery. To sit in the hot tub and watch sunrise and set is magical. Dogs welcome which is an added bonus!
Emily
What a fantastic place this is, the location is unbeatable. We had lots of rain and snow but still loved the local walks and sitting in the hot tub taking in the incredible views. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need and we found there was plenty of room for 4 people. A very reasonable taxi price into Tain where we had a fantastic me al at Platform 1864. Would love to visit this property again. Thank you!
John
Really nicely set up overlooking the sea. Clean and not to far away from supermarkets. Nice walks and ww1 and ww2 ruins were pretty cool.
Erika-jayne
Great stay! Dog friendly! Views and location is just amazing! only a short 45 mins from inverness and a short drive to further north towns! Highly recommend a stay here. Cabins are compact but feel homely and spacious at the same time.
Albert

Rachael
Where to start, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Its so peaceful. You have everything you need in the accommodation. The cleanliness is outstanding. The hot tub is a added bonus and at night you have views of the stars. So relaxing. And your fur babies are welcome aswell. Which is fantastic. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. Can' t wait to book again.
Steven
What's there to think of ....get booking! Just home after a lovely 5 night stay in this peaceful, tranquil location. If you want to get away from it all, and recharge the batteries, this is ideal. Sit in the hot tub or the garden chairs provided looking out to the sea. Inside, the lodge is very modern and the owners have made great use of the space inside. The outside world is a 10/15 minute drive away to Tain, where there are 3 supermarkets, take away places etc.
Paula

The hosts were very helpful even down to having ice all ready for my GnT. Would highly recommend and somewhere Im going to be talking about for some time with my family and friends.
