Ian
Idyllic location for anyone wanting peace in beautiful surroundings. Amazing wildlife and a great local pub nearby. You need to be reasonably fit to access the island though.

Ian, Jess and family inc Dubh were really welcoming and helpful, the cure house we stayed in was comfortable, we can't fault the place. The views and area were great and peaceful. If you want to get away from the rat race then this is for you, we are looking forward to coming back.

This really was a hidden gem. Quiet and peaceful with amazing view. Have to be fit to get up and down to here it well worth it. Plenty to see and do around the area and the walks are great

What a lovely cottage and a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Staying on Dry Island is a super experience all round. It is peaceful, quiet and has a million dollar view. Be aware that there is a short climb up / down to the island so you need to be fit enough to do this. There are plenty of places to visit and lots to do within easy Read morereach. Ian and Jess were so helpful and kind throughout our stay. Hide

Idyllic location for a nice relaxing holiday. The views from the patio and hot tub are stunning. Bed and sofa both comfortable. The magical walk down the winding path to the floating bridge is anything but magical, it is 60 uneven steps to an uneven concrete path which then leads to the floating bridge. A ten minute walk which is hard with luggage Read moreor shopping, bear this in mind before you book its not an easy climb. Hide

Fabulous stay in the downstairs of the old curing station. Ian, Jess, family and Dubh the dog are the perfect hosts. Great location to see the many delights of this part of the west coast and nearby munros.
Sharon
The cottage was in a lovely position on Dry Island with fabulous views but we hadnt realised our outside area was not exclusively ours as Shellfish Safari customers met in this same area.
Pauline
The cottage is comfortable and had everything I needed and plenty I didnt even know I needed. If you are going to complain about noise/footsteps above you from time to time then dont go. In that respect it is the same as being in a hotel. Ian and his family did there utmost to make our stay enjoyable.
Graeme

Magnificent location. Everything you need in the cottage itself.
Ewen
Excellent location, especially if you enjoy walking, wildlife watching and/or photography. Typical (early autumn) west coast weather experienced - changeable and bracing, but absolutely fine if youve got the right clothing! Accommodation was perfectly adequate for two. Would go again - maybe early spring next time.
