Gilpin House Reviews

Sue
Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. We had an amazing family holiday.
Anita
Had a fantastic holiday. Everything had been thought of from the welcome basket to all the lovely hair care products. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, along with all the supplied bikes. Some very nice touches to make our holiday go smoothly. Any minor problems were sorted by Guy, the owner, immediately which was refreshing. Thank you Guy.
Sarah

Louise
Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous location. Perfect for our family celebration over the weekend. Excellent communication both prior to our stay and during when needed.
Derek
A perfect venue for a long weekend family gathering - great facilities and amenities, and plenty of space for everyone. Well located for local attractions. Just be wary of narrow/steep stairs if either little ones in the house party.
Alison
Beautiful house and gardens, well appointed and plenty of room for the 12 of us. The hot tub was hot! The pool however, didn't feel warm at all, so only a few braved it! Location brilliant, within easy walking distance of the co-op and pub.
Diana
We have just returned from a super family long weekend at this property. We had a great time - age range of guests ranging from 8 to 80. The owners were very communicative and the cottage very comfy and cosy. Great convenient location. My one note would be that there are a lot of steps/varying floor levels due to the nature and age of the property which we slightly underestimated for the less mobile members of our party, however with due care this was not a problem!
Jane
A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful family holiday and the owner was happy to help the couple of times we needed his input. I loved the privacy of the cottage too, it literally was ours for the week.
Tracey
Stayed friday to monday end of may'22 I can not recommend this place enough, they have thought of everything. Loved the little touches of vases of beautiful flowers, had a hamper on arrival. The pool area was amazing with the jacuzzi and summer house. Will definitely be going back next year!
