There was only two of us with 4 dogs If there had been 8 adults I feel it could be a bit squashed in kitchen area.
Clare
Really nice house in a lovely location. Had all you needed. Spent a great week relaxing and , seeing the surrounding district and walking the dogs in the New Forest
Sue
The house is very comfortable with ample room for socialising. Bedrooms are huge and the downstairs bedroom ( although incorrectly set up) was great for my elderly parents. Airlock entrance is perfect for dog owners to prevent potential escapees as is the very secure garden. Tip: Practice your parallel parking before you arrive!
Julia

Lovely cottage! Highly recommend and Maria was incredibly helpful. Wish the weather had been better but we spent a lot of time in the hot tub in the rain. Very relaxed holiday with good walks around for our 3 doggies.
Linda
Comfortable and great position in the New Forest, ideally positioned for easy access to many places to visit. Great garden and secure for dogs. I would highly recommend on these points. Owner needs to take a look at simple cleaning points. Kitchen work tops, shower trays etc need a better wipe over and dust in some obvious places.

A comfortable family friendly magnificent property to use as a base whilst exploring the new forest.

Beautiful cottage in The heart of the New Forest. Couldnt fault it, hoping to go again next year. Having a pool table was a bonus. Plenty of kitchen utensils for every kind of cooking/baking and a great hot tub. Cosy and warm with lots to do in surrounding area. Had a great take away from a local recommended restaurant and tried out a few local pub s. Would highly recommend. Easy check in etc.
Sharon
We have had a great week in this beautiful cottage, lovely log burner for the cold evenings, we loved the hot tub and pool table, great fun! Hare and Hounds pub in Sway very good, quiz night on a Sunday, which we really enjoyed. We visited The Pig also, great service and food, beautiful house and gardens! Lovely walks nearby, rainy day spent in the Spa at the McDonald hotel in Lymington. Thank you Maria for a great stay!
Susanne
The cottage is perfect. Really cosy. The location was brilliant especially with 3 dogs. Lovely walks on your doorstep.
Karen
Lovely property in a great location. On arrival was milk in the fridge and a delicious homemade Lemon drizzle cake. Walks from the front door and the near by pub Hare and Hounds which did good food. Lymington is a good visit, a walk on the sea path at Milford on sea and a ferry to the Isle of Wight to Yarmouth. The bed was very comfortable and good size bedrooms apart from the downstairs which was smaller but served its purpose and next to the downstairs shower room. Dogs are well catered for.
Dawn
Fabulous spacious property in a lovely location. Excellent layout for a group of 8. Thoughtfully furnished. You could not ask for more!
Maureen
This is a lovely property and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The flexibility the bedroom options gave meant that we could make sure it perfectly met our family's needs. The location was ideal and very central for visiting key areas of the Forest. The helpful information provided. proved to be very useful. The Hot Tub is a great addition. The thoughtf ul touches such as toiletries and cake made it very welcoming.
Deborah
Great location for the New Forest and within a short driving distance of most seaside locations. Very good local butcher too. Cottage is a good size suitable for a family of six. Amenities in the cottage good with a nice cosy wood burner. Hot tub in the garden if this is your thing. For us it was a good base.
Simon
Cottage is beautiful. Modern in areas! Comfy! Just gutted the extras that came with the property wasnt fit for use
Hazel
The Old Bake house is such a wonderfully comfortable cottage, set in the heart of the New Forest, and yet so close to the beach a 10 min drive away. Whole cottage very well equipped throughout, the bedrooms upstairs are a very good size, the one downstairs a little on the small size for a double. Lots of games and books to enjoy, the outside shower for dog was brilliant. The pool table was a real hit with everyone, as was the hot tub. Parking outside tight for two cars. Would recommend!
Rachel
House equipped to a high standard, great location with pubs, shops and Forest walks all walkable to. Loved the bread maker. But on the small side for 8. Do NOT book if you are a wheelchair user as there are 2 steps to kitchen/dinner and another 2/3 to the garden. Downstairs loo/shower very tight for space and even with double bed pushed up to the w all the downstairs bedroom door only just opens wide enough to fit a childs wheelchair in. Maria was very helpful.
Helen
We had a lovely time in a very nice house in a great part of the country
Steven
A really comfortable, home from home. Well equipped, comfortable lounge and lovely bedrooms. We had a family gathering with 3 dogs and this cottage was ideal. Well placed to explore this beautiful part of the country .
Carol
Lovely location to explore the New Forest & Dorset, good upstairs bedrooms & bathrooms, we booked this property as had a ground floor bedroom & bathroom for our parents but this was too small and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems this was such a issue for us, The oven had to be cleaned before use which you dont expect on your holiday, the BBQ was so dirty we didnt even consider using it, very expensive at 1524 for 4 days with the issues we had will not be returning.
