Emily
We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was so charming and cosy, ideal for us and our little dog. Loved the quiet location, not overlooked at all. The hot tub was fantastic after a day out. The owners were super friendlyand the thoughtful touches like the homemade cake and prosecco made it special. Definitely coming back to try the lodge!
Emma
This spot was honestly stunning, ideal for a peaceful break. We’re definitely coming back, no doubt! Big thanks to Sally and Simon for their warm welcomes, especially when they caught us leaving for day trips. The location is simply lovely, making our stay even more special. Highly recommend!
Oliver
We had a really lovely stay here! The cottage was spotless and super cosy, perfect for unwinding. The hosts were friendly and easy to reach whenever we needed. The hot tub was a real treatand the location is ideal - close enough to the sea and forest for great walks with our dog. Honestly, we couldn’t find a single flaw. Would definitely come back!
Charlotte
The place was great, had all we needed, plus a private hot tub in the courtyard. Definitely recommend for a relaxing stay!
Emma
Honestly, we were pretty disappointed. The place was really tiny and not very clean at all. We had to wash the cutlery before using it, which was a pain. The hot tub was only half working and looked dirty. The shared garden wasn’t really shared - some areas were off limits. The shower was underwhelmingand the towels were tiny-just a hand towel and a hair towel. The robes were okay if you’re a size 10. The toaster was broken too. Such a shame, especially for our 37th anniversary. The website made it seem way bigger and better than it actually was.
Emma
The place is pretty snug and charming, but honestly, it’s quite tucked away from everything. With just us and our medium-sized dog, it felt a tad cramped, really.
James
Lovely spot, super comfyand perfect for exploring the area.
James
This place is really well situatedand it’s clear they’ve thought of everything. There are four properties on-site, all looking fantastic. We had a great stay, totally recommend it!
Emma
The place was really lovely, super clean and well looked after. We appreciated all the little touches for our dog-water bowl, dog shower, tick removers in the boot room-and the setting was beautiful. Definitely planning to stay here again, no doubt!
Emma
The location was perfect and the place had everything we needed. Loved the Prosecco and scones waiting for us - such a lovely touch! The hot tub was a real highlightand the bed was super comfy.

Emma
The cottage was lovely, really well designed with nice touches like cream tea upon arrival. Paddy had a great time too, we’d definitely come back!
Emma
We really appreciated the warm welcome with the scones and a refreshing drink. The "Boot Room" was a real highlight-so thoughtful with picnic backpacks, blankets, charcoaland even a dog shower! The cottage had all we needed, including reliable WiFi and a lovely hot tub. The location was convenient for forest and coast trips, though not as secluded as we’d imagined. Still, it was a peaceful, relaxing break. Thanks a lot! Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.
Lucy
We had an amazing week in a lovely cottage! We really loved it. The hot tub just made it even better. Definitely would go again. Thanks for such a great week.
