Laurel Bank Reviews

Emily Carter
Just got back from a lovely stay at Laurel Bank Cottage. The place is really charming and super cosy. We took our three little dogsand they loved the fully enclosed garden - perfect for peace of mind. The beds were comfyand everyone slept so well after our long walks in the New Forest. Little touches like the lemon drizzle cake on arrival and biscuits for our pups made a big difference. We’ll definitely be returning - thanks so much!
Matt
Really appreciated how friendly they were to our dog and the clear, helpful emails in advance. We'd come back!
Emma
We loved staying in this charming cottage right in the heart of the New Forest. Perfect for exploring, especially since Sway has its own train station, making day trips easy. The private garden was so peacefuland the hot tub was a lovely bonus after a day out. Inside, everything you could need was provided - utensils, a washing machine, tumble dryer, all in great condition. The outside dog shower was a nice touch for our furry friend. All in all, a lovely spot that ticked all our boxes for a relaxing break. Would definitely recommend!
Emma
We loved staying here! The owners really went above and beyond-thoughtful touches everywhere, especially the hot tub. Having two fridges was such a bonus. Definitely a five-star spot, couldn’t recommend it enough!
Charlie
We loved the spot in that quiet little estate in Sway - super handy for the Forest, coastand the bus into Lymington. The garden was perfect for privacyand the hot tub was spotless and really added to the stay. The house had everything we needed, including for the dogs, plus a cool box and some extra bits for day trips. We kept things relaxed as planned, though a comfy sofa would’ve made chilling even better. Overall, a great place with just a couple of small tweaks needed.
Emma Wright
We stayed here recently and loved the location - really central and easy to get around. The amenities were solid, though the edges of the property could do with a bit of a refresh, like a fresh coat of paint. The lounge felt a bit geared towards singles, as there’s no sofa which was a shame for couples. The patio areas looked a bit tiredand the breakfast bar, while stylish, isn’t practical at all - trying to balance a glass on it was a bit of a laugh! Also, the front door lock needs attention, as lifting the handle inside doesn’t do the job. Overall, good but could use some updating.
Sarah
The cottage's spot was perfect, really central, which we loved. We found ourselves popping to the butchers and having multiple meals from the deli-both eat-in and takeaway-everything was top-notch. Definitely a great stay, would recommend!
Emma Collins

Martin
We absolutely loved this cosy little cottage! It’s perfect for a small family like ours with two labs. The garden is secure, so no worries about the pups. The hot tub was such a bonus after long walks. Plus, the nearby pubs serve cracking foodand the location’s just spot on. Definitely recommend!
James
We loved the cosy cottage with its lovely enclosed garden, perfect for our dog. The place was well equipped, though we only found the appliance manuals halfway through our stay. Watch out for all the steps and levels inside-it’s not ideal if you’re a bit unsteady at night! The location was spot onand the New Forest is just gorgeous no matter the season. We’d definitely come back!
Emma
The cottage was lovely, set in a fantastic spot for exploring both the New Forest and the coast. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!
Emma

Lucy
This is a beautiful cottage with great facilities in the perfect location for walks in the New Forest and for the beach! There are also two pubs nearby that do good food and a local food store. We made use of the hot tub, which was a great bonus to haveand towels were even provided for this! We had good weather, but if it rained there is a good selection of books to read, games to play and films to watch. We will definitely book again!
Jessica
We had a great week away with our two dogs! The location was spot onand the garden really stood out for us. It’s huge and totally secure, which was perfect for letting the dogs run around freely. The bed was super comfortable too. Plus, the kitchen is really cute! Getting to all the places we wanted to visit was a breeze. Overall, it was nice and very relaxing.

We loved the location in the New Forest, as it offered easy access to both the coast and the forest. The combined kitchen, living roomand diner were really comfortable, complete with a wood fire and a spacious garden that was perfect for our dogs. Plus, there’s a well-stocked co-op just a short ten-minute walk awayand we were really impressed with the local butcher. We also totally recommend the hare & hounds pub!
James
