A quaint cottage in the central part of the New Forest so ideal to get out and about. The village of Sway has its own train station so if you wish to go further afield great. The cottage its self has a wonderful private garden and a hot tub, all well maintained. The facilities inside were plenty and you do not have to want for any utensils or cutleRead morery, out in the utility room a washing machine and tumble dryer are a good asset. The doggie shower outside the back door is great . Hide
Christine
Anyone booking this cottage will not be disappointed. The owners have thought of everything, including a lovely hot tub. Having two fridges was particularly useful. I do not hesitate in giving this cottage a five star rating.
Gavin
The location in a small housing estate in Sway was great with easy access to the Forrest, coast and the bus goes into Lymington. The rear garden was very private with an excellent hot tub which was immaculate. The house is very well equipped with everything for humans and dogs, there is also a cool box and other day out items provided for guests toRead more use. We stayed in relaxed and chilled as planned but would have liked a comfy sofa to do this which this property was missing. Hide

Great location, amenities very good, however the edges need polishing to make this an A1 property sadly. The lounge area felt it was for singles rather than couples, no sofa. The patio surrounding buildings were very tired and needed paint, the table had glass at some point I think. All fixable at minimal cost. Front door must be locked with the keRead morey, lifting the handle inside is not sufficient. And the breakfast bar looks great but is totally impracticable sadly, try standing a glass on it lol! Richard
Very well equipped cottage, but we didn't find all the appliance instruction manuals until later in the holiday. Very comfortable, but many steps and levels within the living accomodation, so you need to be agile if getting up at night! Sweet fully enclosed garden, ideal for our dog. On what was at the time the hottest week of the year, 8 July 2022 and no fridge that was able to keep anything cool, kitchen fridge put a torch inside and could see the light when door shut, seal had gone. Beer fridge in outhouse had mould in it and was not cold enough if you turned it up it froze your drinks, owner unhelpful, came round said it wa s a blocked drain it wasnt never checked back if it was ok, then could only come again the day we left. Property was also tired and dirty
