Do your research I would suggest. The area is very quiet, very little going on, need to drive to all points of interest. We didn't think the house was suitable for our small dogs. Lovely cottage in a lovely location easy access via car or bus to Bude and the surrounding South West coast path. Secure garden for larger dogs some smaller dogs would be able to get through the chicken wire fence. Owners very friendly and dog lovers

The Falcon Hotel in Bude does a wonderful Sunday Lunch but booking recommended. Only one minor point, electric point on the property was not working during our stay but there is an EV charger in HolRead moresworthy but we used the one in Bideford which has two stations in the car park near the river which has free parking for 90 mins whilst you charge. The cottage was beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome by Suzie and all her family. The house is upside down so to sit in the evening with a glass of wine watching the sunset was stunning. Our fur babies enjoyed the garden, Kilkhampton had enough shops for all our needs along with two pubs, we only used the London Inn as the other pub was not dog friendly.
